Jan Valenta is a professional Table Tennis player from Czech Republic, he is known for how often ill and injured he is, he hasn't gone a single season without being either injured or unpleasently ill
Due to his serious health complications he also had to once stop playing for around 4 years

That's a good one :D I've had some crazy thumbnail ideas for this but I decided to go with this simpler one Looking at the thumbnail, you're absolutely right in what you're saying xd I suppose it can be (unintentionally) a little misleading

At the professional level players can get punished for touching the table during the rally. Shouman visibly _moved_ the table when he ran into it. Clearly the point should have gone to Valenta.

@@WorldPingPongVideo Thanks, we’ll surely try. Havířov is currently losing 2-0 to Liberec, so they still have a chance to win 👍 (needless to say that having score 1-1 would have been a lot more favorable)

Ale, vždyť v tomhle případě co udělal Muhammad bylo nelegální. Podle pravidel stolniho tenisu nesmí hráč jakkoli pohnout se stolem.

Je to tak Když se něco takového stane tak musí rozhodčí rozhodnout jestli byl balón platný nebo ne. Bouhužel pro Honzu, rozhodčí tento bod uznal i přes to že měl dle pravidel být nový balón a takovýhle věci dokážou hráče doopravdy rozhodit když vezmem v potaz že to byl 1. set 12-12 a Honza dokonce i na dřevo poukázal (čímž naznačoval rozhodčímu že je tam nějaký problém). Honza dokonce i na forehand musel dřevo přeskočit aby o něj nezakopl ale na backhand už to překáželo moc a nedostal se do správný pozice bezpečně Tím ovšem nechci nějakým způsobem útočit na rozhodčí protože je vysoce pravděpodobný že se s něčím takovým setkal poprvé a tak je možný že v úseku momentu se nedokázal uspokojivě rozhodnout (což se ovšem může stát komukoliv).

He lost 11-4... not 16-14! So apparently a piece of wood was not the reason.

He lost the first set 14-12 Had he won that set, he most likely would have won the game. Keep in mind it ended up 3-2, not 3-1 nor 3-0 It's that 1 set that made the difference And yes, while it's true he has lost the last set 11-4. He has also won the set before that 11-5
