John Gray explains estrogen makes women talk about emotions. He says thanks to estrogen women´s brain is noticing the problems in the environment 10 times more and they talk about problems when under stress. Tennis is a bit stressful. Testosterone suppresses estrogen in anybody, to be calmer and to focus more on task. Testosterone is about problem-solving. This means men were designed by nature to be high achievers and problem-solvers Which means women were designed by nature to be Karens and emotional. But I guess the emotional part is mainly because of nurturing kids and giving birth. But I agree both men and women should practice love gratitude and empathy to suppress te effect of stress.

I feel like Serena should’ve been on this list due to her 2009 meltdown and completely ruining Osaka’s moment by throwing a temper tantrum even though she was 100% wrong. She’s had a few other moments as well. The Osaka one is borderline unforgivable

The Osaka reference was the final of the US OPEN in 2018 (I believe) where she completely blamed her loss on outside causes and not her poor play. The audience booed Osaka when she won the title because of Serena.

@@colesmith7509 Venus challenged late because the call should've been so obvious that she was expecting the line judge or chair umpire to speak up, and when they failed to do their job, Venus challenged. She didn't challenge late because she was using it as gamesmanship. SHE WAS CORRECT IN ALL THOSE CHALLENGES. Go see your way out, you know where the door is.

I will always love Jankovic. She did not shy away to go toe to toe with divas like Williams and Sharapova, when other players did not dare to speak up against the "elite". Oh most definitely Wozniacki. Also note that this is Karens we’re talking about. The whiny, complaining, ‘I want to talk to the manager’ vibe has to be the main trait. Putintseva is more like the Kyrgios of the WTA, together with Vandeweghe, they both seriously need intensive Anger Management retreat sessions. Ostapenko tbh isn’t even that bad. She actually fascinates me a lot 😂

I do not get Karen vibe for Sakkari. She doesn't seem entitled more desperate, angry and Strycova just seems unhinged in her communications with umpires. Konta, Collins and the Woz have the biggest Karen energy of them all. Maybe it's because they come try to come off as nice. Jelena is pre Karen and above and beyond the Karen description. She is an original unique drama queen not to be confused with Karens. Putinseva, Ostapenko and VIka are just hilarious in their tirades. There is a lack of soccer mom/housewife future for them that the elude Karen. Coco V is not a communicator. The Karen aspect involves a discussion and trying to have your words will some kind of favor your way. She just acts obnoxious and gross. She gives Karens a bad name.

I watched ostapenko live at one tournament, and she was acting crazy and we, the crowd, were so confused 😂. Literally she was acting like a crazy person speaking and shouting at everything.

@@drnot442 correction. It's 2 matches. She also called another umpire "ugly on the inside" and told her to walk away when she walks past her the next time they see each other. She told Dominic thiem to hurry up... So that she can do her post match conference. In another match, she threatened to shove a ball down someone's throat. She called an umpire a liar and a thief. Do I need to give more examples?

@@jamesyu5212 It was at the French Open. Serena was ok with a small conference room, but the organizers thought otherwise probably because there were more journalists that wanted to attend her conference. For that reason they moved Thiem into another room. It was not Williams' fault. Even players like Federer who are generally perceived as gracious have had their bad moments. I don't think that she belongs on the Karen-List.

In Australian Open 2015 Finale, 2nd set, She was penaltied a point by hindrance ( she said cmon before the ball was end ) right after that when she won a point, she acted like she was bullied by umpire with that penalty which was clearly her fault. Thats so KAREN 😂

Serena williams was a professional athlete for 20+ years with over 1000 matches played and 23 grand slams won in singles but do pray tell give me even as many separate incidents as the number of grand slams she won. You can really pick and choose what you want to see in a person but 3 altercations in 20+ years in her career doesn’t qualify as a pattern smh

I wish KZfaq would ban all videos that use "Karen" in their titles or descriptions. It's so overused/misused to the point where in another video a woman who murdered her husband was described as a "Karen".

Wozniacki is a Karen lite. She complained lots, but she was never underhanded and never cheated like some of these other players. Ostapenko should have taken the top spot here.
