Amad Diallo is a phase winger/second striker. His movement is a highbreed of the movements of the 2 positions and intelligence is so much so that he can easily fill in temporarily on the 10/9/11/7 positions

all good inside forwards do this movement. you hug the touchlines to try and create the space inside so when the ball is played in front of you, the problem garnacho had was he would have been pushing onto his weaker foot (right footed so cuts in from the left wing inside) dialo isn't as quick but has better feet. it's all situational.

Not with the same style of play. The tactical landscape has changed and De Zerbi/McKenna’s approach to playing through the centre of the pitch I think is superior in 2024 to what ten Hag was doing in 2019

what makes Saka one of the best is how unpredictable is. He cuts in & shoots, cuts in & crosses, goes down the outside & crosses, goes down the outside & shoots

Wouldn't necessarily say Saka is unpredictable. 90% of the time Saka gets the ball he's looking to cut inside. What makes Saka dangerous is his intelligence and his quick feet. When I say quick feet I'm not saying he's particularly fast either. Its more that Saka is very jinky.

Amad definitely has the talent to become an elite but right now he's still unproven despite showing some glimpses recently. I'd say united shouldn't sign olise and instead focus on playing amad and developing his game since he's almost 22. I hoped that we'd have sancho and amad on the right wing but that looks very unlikely now. I think united should start amad next season with omari forson as his backup because sancho, antony and unfortunately pellistri will all be gone.

This is why I don’t want olise as a priority, let Amar develop into the talented and promising youngster united paid for, seems like united have no problem developing talent from the academy level, but when it comes to buying promising talent that we’re playing regularly they just halt their progress
