These are fairly spicy, maybe a 6/10 and definitely would be hard for a person who doesn't eat a lot of peppers to handle. I eat habanero's on everything though and just recently made a sub sandwich with 4 sliced hab's on it and dipped it in the leftover Buldak extra spicy broth I had from having these earlier like a french dip lol 😆. Was extremely good but the habanero's and the Buldak broth was intense when combined and definitely a 9/10. I grew and ate like 40 ghost peppers last summer though lol so my spice tolerance is very high, sadly the local stores hottest peppers sold are habanero's but I'm content as hab's are the perfect balance of flavor and heat. A jalapeno tastes like a bell pepper to me these days honestly, I could eat like 10 of them in a row and probably not even feel any heat. These noodles are BOMB though, my wife and I buy like 4 packages of 5 a month of only this variety and even our 5 year-old son likes them (he's a little chili head lol) I know they aren't healthy though so I only let him have a small bowl once or twice a week. Oddly enough he likes broccoli in his though, that kid is a huge broccoli and carrot eater and the opposite of me as a kid lol. He won't even touch candy unless it's the occasional sucker. When I was a kid I used to eat chocolate bars and hot dogs all the time so my wife and I are extremely proud of him. The only way we can even get him to eat meat is if we slice it up really well and sneak it into his food or use chicken/beef broth when cooking. I even made some AMAZING meatloaf 2 days ago and he wouldn't touch it, I will never understand our son. Tried fried chicken, sausages, burgers, etc and all he says is "I want little trees!" and he won't even dip them in ranch which blows my mind. He will eat eggs though once in a while and ask for them but anything else he won't touch, tried cheese sticks and NOOOOPPPPEEEEEE so my wife and I had to eat them all. I love meat and so does my wife and I really don't want our son being a stuck up vegan, his best friends family is vegetarian so I think he is rubbing off on our son, he hangs out over there and they apparently eat veggie trays all the time and fruits. I guess I shouldn't be mad over this and maybe I am overreacting but I just don't understand it, veggies are okay but you need protein as well so at least he eats eggs and the little bit of meat I can sneak into his mashed potatoes.

Hey Matt, common misconception about milk/fatty drinks and foods helping. Fats actually help suspend the capsaicin and while it might dull the heat a tiny bit, it will actually make it last longer. Counter to common sense, citrus or any other acids will help break down the heat and quell it faster. Lemonade or cola etc.

Cola does NOT help. Idk who've told you that but I've tried it and if anything it has the opposite effect. CONONUT water is actually the secret.

@@annamayssa8614 Capsaicin triggers our bodies TRPV1 pain receptor, the co2 in cola triggers a receptor called TRPA1 which isn't a pain receptor, it's best described as a fresh sharp bite which is a feeling and a taste. I could see how some people might confuse that with pain and that's probably why you think it's making the spice worse, however it's a seperate and different feeling. I'd suggest trying something acidic that isn't carbonated. The acid breaks down the capsaicin and shortens the spicy experience duration. Fats like milk can dull the sensation a bit but they coat the capsaicin and trap it in the receptor making it last longer.

Yup! Even though it says regular spice, it’s still really spicy! You should try the Carbonara version (pink package). Spicy but more flavourful!

The Ghost Pepper one was from my country hahaha, i like these spicy ramen but i don't really put the whole packet of chilli oil (in order for me to enjoy it). For Samyang i really like their Kimchi Ramyeon which is soup based and it's really good.

These are so good. For anyone who struggles with the spice a bit, I recommend adding a tbs of peanut butter and an egg on top. Really levels up the flavor too

Pro tip. Throw a beaten egg into the bowl, throw the hot ramen on top with a good bit of broth so it cooks the egg. It's legit out of control. I use two eggs. Thank me later.

First time is challenging but after the third time eating it, it really isn’t that bad. It’s all about building your tolerance. Try more water and less packet sauce next time

I love these, but in all honesty i have eaten plenty of whole jalapeños and habaneros, and for me, these noodles are more like eating a habanero.

I had them and like them. The heat kicks you in the back of the throat though, especially if you burp as the heat comes back up. I see this brand all over the place.

I can't believe people don't know about coconut water. I've never seen it anywhere about helping with the spice, it's always about milk. Try it you'll be surprised ! Fresh from the coconut would be best :)

The spice is tolerable with these. The red 2x ones are the ones that give me unholy burn😂 3x from what I heard is even way spicier. As someone who likes the 2x, 3x are still a no-go.

Anyway, the pandemic happened, I never ended up going, and am still craving it. My local grocery stores don't have much selection at all beyond Mr Noodles...

I eat these all the time, I absolutely love them. The mouth burn isn't that bad to me, getting it all over your lips is another story 😂 Also, just a tip, if you're trying to cool down your mouth from spice then drink a fizzy drink like cola as sweetness counterbalances the spice. Water is genuinely the worst 😭

I can see that you took too much water out, that's why the flavor concentrated all into the noodles. Leave a little more, then there will be about a tablespoon of red, and hot, liquid left. You've probably already figured this out after a couple times.

Drinking water with spicy food is a big NO NO unless you like making it more intense. Water only intensifies the burn. You need dairy products like milk or ice cream.

Well, I wouldn't say it's one of the spiciest noodles. Sure, its spicy. Although I have only tasted two packs, I wouldn't consider it as extremely spicy in my personal opinion.

Were they 2x or 3x spiced? It usually says on the packet. I had 3x spicy and it was almost unbearable. I just about got through it. 2 hours later my asshole was feeling the pain 👀

Nope, I ate this today and i don't think its spicy enough. Well, I learned one trick, when you are eating it don't drink anything, no water no milk. Also, take only small bites, not a lot. So, i finished mine without even saying its spicy

They were meh.. Uncomfortable, but never hot or spicy. Good enough if you like hot and spicy because its definitely there, but nothing that lingers long enough to make you feel uncomfortable. Then again, I drank the fiery broth and ate the noodles which he isn't doing. Maybe it wasn't hot enough for me.?
