7 жыл бұрынActually, the Santa Fe had merged with BN to form BNSF about four years earlier, but there were still lots of warbonnets and Santa Fe marked cars to enjoy, plus B-units and plenty of Cascade Green as well. Unfortunately, it's only standard definition.

This is why I always liked the early BNSF days. Lots of different locomotive types in lots of different liveries. Even today you can still see some H1, H2, warbonnets, and BN executive MACs mixed in with all the H3 GEVOs. And even then, BNSF uses multiple types of GEVOs. Although I never saw a B unit myself, only yard slugs.

Her in Texas you still see all of the bnsf schemes and still see Santa Fe schemes but bn green? Very very rare. I drive through the two large yards in Houston then drive through port of Houston so I seee soooo much different motive power and one of the yards often times I’ll see rare bn executives from time to time

Hey I love that SANTA FE 5510 loco I think it's a B 50 with no cab, AWESOME, AWESOME, IVE NEVER SEEN ONE IN POSITION LIKE THIS AS A DPU AWESOME, YOU JUS DONT SEE THESE ANYMORE. 😁🤠😉👍.

More great stuff Sir! The good thing about modelling the BNSF, is that we can have all these great pre merger colours as well! Wish I was there back in 99, but the station has had a major facelift since then, I hardly recognised it to when I was there in 2015. I liked Flagstaff , a nice town and lots of rail traffic. For such a happy merger they sure tried to cover up their heritage as fast as they could. Should have just kept one of the original paint jobs or a combo of both.

@@carlzipperman6689 7 of them were sold to ns, the rest of them are sold to PRLX. BNSF kept 45 of them and were rebuilt and repainted

The only B units left on the roster are the GP60Bs the GP38-2B and the SD40-2Bs which are used at Galesburg Yard in Illinois
