I did something similar years ago with six old TVs. I played Freddy Kruger coming out in an industrial scene on them, which I built in the basement. Just as Freddy was about to attack, one of my Freddy actors would jump out sparking the floor. Proud to say many visitors wet themselves!😅

You know that many of the best scare houses are the ones without scare actors because it's your own anxiety and fear which scares you most. Static props are always the best as you don't know if it's real or fake.

I would have to disagree. I think scripted scare actors are unbeatable when used correctly. The typical run of the mill "ahh!" Or the dreaded "boo!" Is the big downfall to live actors. But when they are placed appropriately and have a refined scare, they are invaluable
@highdesertbiker
@highdesertbiker 2 ай бұрын
@@BroughtToYouByDDean I totally agree. A good actor or a bunch of them can make a very simple haunt setup incredible. The sets here though are NEXT LEVEL. These are really really well done. I like it all. I like people pushing the limits.

Yeah I think so too. They can be useful if they are part of the set to add realism and don't interact with the guest, but when they reach out and yell boo it's just awkward.

My late Mom Doris VanDecar worked at Eloise from 1954 to 1962 as a Secretary until Wayne County General Hospital no longer around opened up in 1962 and she became the Administrative Secretary. True story there were many cool tunnels in the Eloise Complex when my Mom was working there we'd play in the tunnels my Cousins and me.

This is the type of ‘haunted’ attraction I look forward to. I’d rather be scared by my own imagination, then rely on scare actor’s to do the work. A bit unnerving sounds, lighting effects, things that catch only the corner of your eye, sometimes is all you need. Do not need things thrown at me, just hinted at, to keep me guessing.

I was a delivery driver a couple of decades back and I'm making a delivery that I had never been to before. Stopped the truck, grabbed the package, head to the back of this huge building, ring the doorbell, get buzzed in, open the door and walk through, the door shuts behind me and I could hear it lock... There wasn't a handle on the inside of this door, you're only leaving one way, to get buzzed out. If some of you have seen Silence of the Lambs when Clarice is going to visit Lecter at the beginning of the movie, and she's passing all those holding cells, well, that was pretty close to it. First time in my life that I was actually scared. I had to deliver this package down this long corridor, difference was, those holding areas weren't cells, there weren't any doors, wide open. Got some fairly strange looks my way to say the least. You can probably figure out what kind of place it was. Got the hell out of Dodge as soon as the package was signed off. lol As always you two, great video. Whoever created this did a phenomenal job.

Glad you enjoyed your time here I live 2 miles from here also when I was 15 in the mid 1960s I went there a few times with a friend of mine to visit his brother. There were so many buildings I remember they would lock and unlock doors behind you when you went in. Very scary at a young age. Did the host also tell you there are unmarked graves the other side of Michigan ave. Those were people who were unknown and no family’s Also have friends that go in at night for the paranormal events 👍

I find wax or models somehow better than scare actors who really aren't as creepy - this is good!

This magnificent! Best haunt I've ever seen. It's a combination haunted museum, asylum and small theme park in one. It's going on my bucket list and hope to go there one day. Great job guys!

WoW!... what an an ominous structure of a building----- very foreboding... I bet this building had some serious history, that would be on the spooky side. So Kool to see it without the actors, to get the better view of it, and I love that they didn't alter it for a Haunt sake----- I agree on that bad review, was good a good review, Hell I'd love to check this one out during the Autumn months..... It's Haunted!!??.... Thanks, again for taking us all along, GriMMs.... Love that piano.... :^)"""""""""

By far the best! I was getting dizzy 😵‍💫 and major anxiety 😬🫣. It's like I didn't want it to end, but at the same time, I wanted you two to hurry up lol. So detailed, very realistic, I like the animatronics, right amount of gore. I get a kick out of Michael gagging 🤣🤣🤣. I can tell this got to you Michael, I've never seen you quiver on camera before. I thought you were going to drop the light cube. I think you developed Parkinson's in there lol. Jessica is always a great sport and she's down with the cause. So brave to go first 🙏☺️.

As someone who has struggled with mental health for 25 years and has had numerous stays in modern psych ward's (im four years out from my last stay😊) I still cant imagine what those patients went through 😢 what a cool place for a haunt though. Thanks for another outstanding adventure ❤
