Kensington Avenue in North Philadelphia is famous for drug use and prostitution. The avenue runs 3 miles through what is now a dangerous, cr1me-ridden neighborhood. Kensington Blues is a series of photographs by Jeffrey Stockbridge, 36, who documented the struggles and grim reality of local residents.
Between 2008 and 2014, a photographer took a series of intimate portraits of people capturing a side of Philadelphia rarely seen or talked about. Residents shared their stories, talking about people's problems and their struggles in their lives.
