February 8 | Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Courts Subcommittee, delivers the twenty-eighth in a series of speeches titled “The Scheme,” exposing the machinations by right-wing donor interests to capture the Supreme Court and achieve through the Court what they cannot through the elected branches of government.
Whitehouse breaks down the important role of the Judicial Conference of the United States, a little-known agency within the judicial branch that is well-positioned to improve transparency in the judiciary and strengthen the ethics rules that apply to the Supreme Court justices. Whitehouse recounts the progress he has made in seeking action from the Judicial Conference on issues related to judicial ethics.

Same here, I would help this man help America in any way I could. BTW Congratulations Oregon for your states ruling (against protesting/ no show GQPers) that bars anyone from re-election that does not attend activities/ vote or is absent from 10 or more sessions. This should be a Federal mandate as well in my opinion. No more obstructionists and slackers on the tax payers dime while courting lobbyists and the like, furthering only their own pockets and political futures.

Do the Justices have to pay for their law clerks out of their own salaries? There is absolutely no reason why any donations of any kind be it monetary or luxury travel, vacations or hunting trips etc. Imo they are being bought and the highest donor wins their case! How else can you read this!
