It seems that the amount of technical interference was indicative of just how important this message actually is. The approaching New Year is certainly an awesome opportunity to begin to more deeply embrace The Rest offered us every Sabbath we enter into.peace.

Very awesome points, Pastor Myers. It should also be noted that in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, “2 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” This sealing is not merely as you keenly point out-bodily or cognitively cleaning us but a spiritual, emotional cleansing of guilt, shame, and any other emotional ties that bind us down wherein we perpetuate further self-destruction.

Having an opportunity to listen to this message now, on the 1st of Jan 2024, first thing in the morning, has been nothing but a foundation I resolve to build upon going forward. May God help us as a family, and me as a leader of the family, to rest in the completed works of Christ and that we acknowledge that we are the sons of God. God bless you Ps and your family. This is how we prepare: How much do we believe from the heart? Draw nigh to God, and God will draw nigh to you. This means to be much with the Lord in prayer. When those who have educated themselves in skepticism and have cherished unbelief, weaving questioning doubts into their experience, are under conviction of the Spirit of God, they see it to be their personal duty to confess their unbelief. They open their hearts to accept the light sent them and throw themselves by faith over the line from sin to righteousness, from doubt to faith. They consecrate themselves unreservedly to God, to follow His light in the place of the sparks of their own kindling. As they maintain their consecration, they will see increased light and the light will continue to grow brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. FW 17.1

Lord Jesus bless me to be worthy enough to be Seventh Day Adventist Christian and not be lost to self-centeredness and/or the things of this world.

I now have a new view of the Sabbath, thanks, Pastor. This makes so much sense . Tomorrow, in my worship I will be reading my Bible to hear what the spirit heard.

Wow amazing.... something that is sealed can't be moved..... I praise God for his Holy Spirit. As I read scripture a few years ago, I kept seeing the sabbath and God's commandments..... I know it was the Holy Spirit that led me..... Because I kept reading scripture in the past and never saw this, but only in God's timing.... The more I listen to this sermon, the better understanding that I have of God's ways and how the Holy Spirit works.... This is truly a blessing....Pastor thank you💯....I will not grieve the Holy Spirit for I m a child of God.

And this true rest where we should stop any works is every "today" and is entered only by faith, as Hebrew chapter 4 explains it very well. "For we who have believed,enter that rest." "Again He limiteth a certain day... TODAY" We need no effort to enter it. And we NEVER get out of it because we dwell in it !

Oooh. Weeee. Go head then Ivor tell um! I got a similar teaching but I use Branding as an illustration. Jesus is the Fathers' Logo for his kingdom.. The Father rebranded himself to reach a larger audience than one nation of people. The Logo for the kingdom of God is well known because it is Jesus Christ. If you treat your Brand(GOD/god) like a person ,then customers will choose it( the original /The Almighty/the true God), because of the way Jesus represented him. That Logo trusted to be from the original creator of that brand.
