Just a stupid question but I love the sound of the bass strings he uses. Anybody know what kind of strings, MAtt BRewer uses ?

Spirocore mittel + gut G(probably chorda or gamut here)

This is beautiful, out of the ordinary, and refreshing. The best trick may be disguising the saxophone (as listed above) as an English Horn (?), or is it a bassoon (too much blues guitar will do that to you). Thanks to Lauren Falls for putting this up on FB.

Danneau Ben is a saxophonist primarily but a very fine bassoon player as well.

Trent Jacobs I don't imagine Ben's music teachers telling him that bassoon players are first in line to be rock stars. It's great that he has the sax as another love and money-maker, but how good is it that he's persisted with the bassoon!

Excuse me Ben, I have a question, two actually, wich mic models are you using? Both the condenser and the pickup. I use the Little Jake pickup sold in Forest Music, is there any difference between that and the one you use, regarding the position, as you place it near the bell.
