The period between JP3 and JW is so fascinating and it hides so many untold stories. It's a perfect ground for new JP shows!

Hearing Klayton’s OG intro with the guitar made me so happy, so nostalgic as well as the Frequency theme in the background. While personally I find the gap between Lost World and JP3 to be the most interesting, it’s still awesome hearing about the recapture of animals on both islands to get Jurassic World ready! :)

Universal must know that us Jurassic fans are pitching good ideas for a future film. They need to listen us

Truly, I would love to explore more in the Jurassic Park era. Lots of untold stories that need to be told.

We really need a mid-quel trilogy where pt 1 is between JP and LW that shows the fall of that island (edit: Sorna), pt 2 in-between LW and JPIII with the cloning of the Spinosaurus, and pt 3 is between JPIII and JW that shows the founding of Jurassic World.

I definitely think the timeline between Jp3 and JW should be explored more, whether it be through a movie, show, or even a book. Exploring the process of how Jurassic World came to be would be really interesting to see.

Using the set up of the park would have been the perfect excuse to bring back characters from previous films who’d tangled with the dinosaurs. The kid characters now older, especially since Lex and Tim would be seen as representing their grandfather’s legacy whilst having their experience of the fall of Jurassic Park. Also on a nostalgia level seeing people exploring the original visitors Center, beyond the main hall. The movie theatre, the lab, the kitchen (and perhaps if there are any remains of the Raptor locked in the walk in fridge). Nature claiming this building would be a powerful image.

Pretty cool video on this Jurassic Park Mission after JP3 and I pretty much agree with your points and it seems very interesting and it could bring new ideas to the tables. Great work on this and as always, Take It Easy and Life Would Find A Way with this.

Would love to see a movie focused around the era between JP3 and Jurassic World.

I was always annoyed that the character of Nick, in The Lost World, just disappears from the movie after they get off the island. I had hoped that he'd be brought back at some point.

Personally, I think that everything that is canon that hasn't showed up on a movie visually, needs to be used in future movies. There's a lot that we already know that can be used as the base script or prompt of the story, and just work from there. It wouldn't be hard either, most of the canon (If not all) that hasn't been used in movies are adored by fans, why not make a movie out of it? I would love to see Hoskins hunting in the wild to bring back order, to see a Henry Wu focused movie with the Spino as the second main character... There's a lot that can be done

Yeah all that information that happened with all the missions and capturing Rexy and beginning to bring up Jurassic World I think it would make an interesting movie showing all the events that lead to it's creation.

I would love to see a movie exploring the events that unfolded during the hurricane that hit Sorna. I could see a crew being left behind and they have to find a way off the island while being chased by dinosaurs while uncovering some secrets.

The fact the Rex was the only threat besides the resident Dilophosaurus on Nublar probably eased it's reclaimation. I honestly would like to see something telling what happened in 99 would be cool.

I would love to see a live action TV series focusing on the capturing and transportation of the animals to their JW habitats and the construction of the theme park. There needs to be more series in this franchise, as one just doesn't cut it. I would love to see Masrani as the main character, and later Hoskins and Claire come into the picture. New characters for the construction of the park would be cool as well. The canon of the movie franchise needs to boosted quite a bit, and a TV show would fit in perfectly - You can have hours and hours of content over the course of the series rather than just having 2 and a half in a film. I would also like to see the struggles the animals went through to get back into containment and how InGen made it work.

Great time period to do a live action tv series. Have ingen building Jurassic world and have all the suspense of going and catching dinosaurs and figuring out how to exhibit them without them escaping- naturally some do from time to time and some accidents occur- but overall this period would be cool for like a 3-4 season run that ties directly into the start of the first Jurassic World movie.

I’d love a complete reboot as a HBO level production tv series. Have it remain more faithful to the books with the heavier horror and use the episodic format to dig deeper than a film

In my opinion, the Spinosaurus' story would probably be the most interesting to see for tie-in media. Plus the mystery of it all would make it so much more worth. Would also love to see how the Buck and Doe survived on Sorna or how they adjusted to the changing ecosystems, now that we know they lived long enough to make it to the BioSyn valley in the end. The "Sorna had been left barren and empty" theory made by the DPG in 2018 is safely disproved by JWD, JWCC and Dinotracker so honestly it would be very interesting to see more of Sorna's stories than more of Nublar or the mainland.

This is exactly the time period I would love to see the next project take place. You could do the best of all worlds. JP nostalgia and easter eggs on Nublar, dino horror/action on Sorna, the more shadowy part of the cloning projects explored, hunting the T-Rex with bazooka tranq darts like the novel, getting in to Dodson's role, all KINDS of great possible material to make everyone happy. Heck all of that could be the next trilogy instead of one movie.

the problem is that like yatzhee crossshaw said in his review of the video game jurassic world evolution. the entertaining part of the movies is when things go wrong, and if things went wrong they probably wouldnt have opened jurassic world

Site B would be perfect for the survival horror game the franchise desperately needs. The experiments in the lab Dr Grant’s group finds are a perfect starting point and industrial espionage is a core part of the franchise from the beginning. Throw in some stuff from the Lost World novel the films didn’t use too.

I wish that they would make a movie about the fall of site B, as well as everything that happened with site B that’s a complete and utter mystery. I also wish that they would explore site C.

I hope Klayton plays the game Oakwood. I watched a playthrough from Fooster, and it was so dino themed!

A dino harvest movie on Sorna could be cool, but it would have to be a real survival movie like The Trespassers/arcade game. Hire a Horror Director, making it Chrichton level violent, making the Raptors and T-Rex scary again, not like the recent schtik of the sweet mascot coming to save the main characters.

Hell it would make a great online series!

In my opinion they should mostly do comic books, graphic novels, and maybe just regular novels as well, just to experiment with stories and ideas for prequels, sequels, or spin-offs, same thing with video games, mobile games, but also short films as well and tv shows but not like Camp Cretaceous, something more serious, but in my opinion I think we should wait on a sequel and just work on spin-offs and prequels, I think we should get a Mosasaurus underwater sci-fi horror spin-off movie, which would be awesome as a spin-off, maybe giving the Mosasaurus a name like the OG T Rex named Rexy. And I think another spin-off show idea is seeing a viewpoint of a civilian or a military soldier and having it a more Zombie Apocalypse kind of story but with dinosaurs, like imagined Fear The Walking Dead but with accept for walkers there’s dinosaurs.

Sieries pitch idea: Jurassic park: Shorts. The sieries would consist of 20 minute long installments explaining, or visuallizing off screen events, Like the amalgam testing, Ingen building the park on Nublar, how Biosyn brought the rexes fro sorna tothe Biosyn valley, ETC. I would watch every single mini movie from intro to the end of the credits.

This all sounds like a killer movie. I feel the premise is maybe a little thin for a trilogy but, a movie? I am game for that.

ISLA SORNA of The Lost World & ISLA SORNA of JP3 seemed like to different Islands, because certain landmarks were different & the same with the Facility/Staff Village on the Island...

I've been waiting on a streaming series - horror/mystery story - about what was happening on Sorna. Lots of untold stories to tell there. Unfortunately, Dominion sort of muddies that time period, though, with human cloning and such.

I think "fun little adventures" lore in between the films is that Lego Jurassic World Game Sorta did this the best and so did the Lego Jurassic World show. I think the idea of shows developing the franchise more may redeem the dryness of the Jurassic Brand would do the brand some good and the universals questionable and frustrating decisions would be wonderful for fans but we're probably dreaming. It's also worth mentioning that the anniversary for Jurassic Park did not live up to expectation what so ever and it's rather depressing being a fan since I was a kid.

It was like an experience where you're on the island and get to see a bunch of cool dinosaur animatronics including at the end a massive T Rex that breaks out of containment. My gf and I went last week and it was such a cool thing. Would def check it out if it comes to your city!

It's beyond annoying now and it doesn't serve any purpos, it just takes you out of the video and the story you are trying to tell. Stuff like this is certainly not why people watch your videos.

I know that in my expanded headcannon, a version of IDW'S JP comics and the Lego series also occurred during this gap (albeit after JW's opening)?

I think its completely fine to go back and have a prequel before the first film, and yes people can die and it can be covered up.

I just hope that the people in charge of this franchise are using this time to plan the future direction of the franchise. Hopefully they are creating stories and direction for the future of Jurassic. As a fan I really want content, but it’s been very quiet. Im glad they haven’t released anything rushed and half baked. But I just hope they are using this quiet time to plan the for the future.

Hey klayton I always thought with the Dilophosaurus Kiosk in the Innovation center from JW the movie which was Briefly shown in promotional Material that INGEN/Masrani were going back to the drawing board with Dilophosaurus to make it look more Authentic because if see the picture of that kiosk display they have a paleo-Accurate skull along with a drawing accompanying it with a accurate sized adult specimen with hopefully that missing Vestigial forth finger on each foreclaw.😂

Honest opinion and thought, may sound unpopular but it'll be awesome. We should go back to Isla Sorna having Henry Wu back as one of the main characters. Clair Dearing obviously a young version of herself. New characters ofcourse. We need a Hispanic representation with a strong accent as a main character next to Clair. The project you mentioned would lead to a great 1 trilogy set of 3 movies revolving around that and it'll fully display how Hotchkins captured the dinosaurs.. with that we can explore one of the five deaths and keeping it classy none of that rushed bs they did in the last 2 movies before Domion.

Michael Crichton also made a movie called Westworld ( the recent show is based upon it ) tie these 2 together as the concept is fairly similar, Park, advanced genetics or robotics something goes wrong,. You could do it fairly easily and one would expand the Jurassicverse

I'd love an extraction type movie just with a simple plot where a small team has to go to the island to recover some sort of research and then just go full horror survival with it similar to the telltale jurassic park game

I had a few ideas for Jurassic movies. Nublar: a Jurassic Park story and Sorna: a Jurassic World Story. Nublar would focus on the 1994 Ingen clean up on the fallen Jurassic Park. Sorna would take place after JP 3 and JW which would focus Marsianl Global capturing dinos on Sorna to take them to Jurassic World.

I almost think these ideas would make a good live action show on like HBO or something. You can show the whole process of them clearing Nublar then the construction of JW and different episodes centered around catching the different dinosaurs off Sorna for the park. I think that whole process would be nice to now try to cram into one or two movies.

I vote for a series. Like 12 episodes. Starting from Hammond Building JP first interation. Protagonist: Security/Animal Protector/Fence Inspector. This guy is contract to run the Island and check for failures. We see the park from his POV learning about the animals, perimeters, he seeing deaths of colleagues, Hammonds corruption, mismanagement of Resources. I Think he could travel from Nublar to Sorna to bring Dinos to the park. Ive always want to see a inside view of the park routine. Not cathastrophe only!

I'm super torn on this because I agree 100% with you that it's an interesting time period that would go a long way to fill in a lot of the gaps... but also, at this point my faith in Universal to allow someone the freedom to do it justice is almost negative at this point. I just don't trust them not to do something asinine like completely overwriting, contradicting, or "recontextualizing" the material they've already put out in favor of some grandiose, over-the-top action plot with a shoehorned romance subplot.

Honestly, man, I think you should direct These spin off films . Because you've talked so much about all this Hidden stuff, In between first film and the second film. Even the stuff that's secret in the third film. I would be up for seeing it all but I'm not really sure how the film would be structured. Probably multiple films. I would love to see you direct your own trilogy. But, Hey, I'm just a fan talking. There's always been something missing from these new films. I think that making prequels is the only way the franchise can move forward at the moment but, not that I want them too, if Universal where to create a movie or show set after Dominion what would you like to see?

As cool as the Indominus was in theory...nothing beats the Ultimasaurus. The U. Imperatrix from GojiCenter is even better than the original Ultimasaurus. Even the Dracodentitan from JWE is a badass hybrid. I’d love to see that in a movie.
