I'm so glad you're keeping this going. I could be the only one... Just a little input from me... the title card transitions and other aspects in the episode make it super loud and jarring when watching. Some of them have so much beeping and things that it's genuinely laborious to watch the multiple times I can't imagine if it's worse wearing headphones... But I would watch a lot of these back-to-back-to-back especially in the evening when relaxing. I would watch many of them over and over just like I did secret life of machines. But the insane audio level on some of them makes it super jumpy and a jarring. But this is just my opinion. Regardless of the wild audio... I'm sure I will watch them each multiple times. But I could just see them getting a lot more attention if they weren't so jarring.... And some of them completely full every few seconds from beginning to end with EXTREMELY loud beeping or noises

That he is. The Secret Life of Machines series caught my eye when lazily looking at the local newspaper's TV Guide. The show landed on my local NHPTV channel late at night. 11PM EST I think it was on a weekend. Can't remember which day though, but I was hooked.

@@battleangel5595 I first started watching it when my mom brought it to my attention in the early 90's when it was being replayed on Discovery Channel (I think) here in the US. I was probably 13-ish at the time. I happened to stumble across the Secret Life of Components partway into the first series and was delighted that Tim was still at it (and saddened to learn of the passing of Rex).

I am of that age where I watched the original series on TV. And as many others have said my life long engineering career is down to both my father and Tim. Mr Hunkin I've been watching you on TV with my engineer dad since the 90s. Have introduced your particular brand of "make it work" to another generation through your installations and KZfaq videos. Nothing beats your way of teaching complex ideas in simple to understand terms.

I'm especially looking forward to the pneumatics video. As an industrial engineering student, my favourite course module was in the pneumatics lab. Building basic logic circuits, using the power of compressed air, was wonderful hissy fun.

Also many thanks for the stop motion intro that you produced, it's so good to see this old fashioned method of producing motion still being used.
