I'm besotted. On a rather sad-for-me day I was told to look at this and now I cannot wipe the smile from my beaming face nor want to... these darling little beings (of course instantly we wonder how could anyone ever maltreat them and then it gets depressing) - but oh so gorgeous. Molly Squiggles The Cat, currently gazing at the laptop, who was thrust on me at a few days old,, was like so many of these (though obviously more beautiful :) Bless their lovely playful hearts! Cameron, thanks so much for posting, This made my day. If I sound like a cat person - yes! Thank you, Cameron. .

I wasn't even into cats until I noticed this; suddenly there were too many cats walking around in my city, Tehran. Since I decided to make my documentary "Adorable Cats of Persia, 1". I have fallen in love with these gorgeous creatures. Whether street or home-bound, they always have this magnificent aura of self-sufficiency. They will use us, but they don't need us and they won't shy away from showing us just that.

peanut is just like "Itty Bit" (the runt of my kitty's litter born in August). 6 kittens total, Itty Bit is the runt and was literally half the size of her siblings. It was even weird to hold her because she was so small, just like peanut. But she was very fiesty and adventurous

I used to hate cats, thought they where aragonite evil pooping machines. For some reason something is happening slowly and I’m slowly starting to like cats more and I don’t know why, I’m at a point where I would own a cat.

I used to think that about dogs but I like them now. A cat (descendants of tigers and lions remember) is independent, so it’s very special when they choose to spend time with you and love you, whereas a dog is pretty much programmed to do whatever they’re told.. people who say they “hate cats” simply don’t understand them, or don’t care to. If you understand a cat, there’s no reason to dislike them unless you hate all animals dogs included. Dogs poo more than any animal next to the horse lol

My male cat was also named peanut! He was so small at six weeks he looked almost like a newborn! Now my peanut is 42 lbs! One very big maincoon cat! He is on a diet, but he's visiting many houses and eats everything that he can including raccoon babies and juveniles. Nothing escapes him....even at his huge size...I wish the vet sold medical diet tags so others will stop feeding him junk food!
@Uioit4 жыл бұрын
Juvenile raccoons??? And wow that's a tiger of a cat!

Raccoon mothers are also very protective of their babies-and have a mouthful of thin, razor sharp teeth they won’t hesitate to use. OTOH, your Peanut could just sit on the momma raccoon and smother her to death! ;-) I don’t imagine Peanut would be intimidated by much of anything-Hope your super sized kitty is still doing well two years later-and you are too!

My 2 couldnt wait to get outdoors. they climbed over the barrier to get out the patio door into the garden within a few days of me bringing them home. No matter what i tried to keep them in they found a way outside when they were 9 weeks old. so gave up and let them go out when they wanted and they spent hrs exploring the garden before coming back in to sleep then woke up straight back to the garden. By 12 weeks old they were catching mice and rats. 1 of them when he was a year old was jumping 5 foot in the air to catch birds in flight. Record catch for 1 day so far was 5 rats. 5 mice, 6 shrews, 2 pigeons and a bat. they spent hrs trying to catch a squirel but they were not fast enough. 1 day i looked out and in next doors garden and saw their heads sticking out of the top of a pine tree about 20 foot up. they both came down when i called them. both happy as they had found a birds nest up there and was raiding it. told them bad boys dont take baby birds they ignored me lol. they were 6 months and 3 months old then. there nearly 4 now and every day i wake up to find a dead rat on my bed they caught during the night. I keep telling them i dont want rats for breakfast but they keep bringing them home lol. Even when it was raining they wanted to be outside. always had towels on standby to dry them off when they came back in like drown rats. a cat i had before was a fishing expert. every day she would bring home a trout or salmon she caught in the brook behind r home. always the same routine she would put her paws on it to say this is my part thats urs. she always had the head and refused to let me cook it as she wanted it raw. if i cooked it and put it down for her she would turn her nose up and say you have ruined it and go and catch another fish. I let her have all the fish as i cant stand fish. but she always wanted to share it with me. she wouldnt eat anything except fish and it had to be raw. She had to be put to sleep cause of liver cancer when she was 3. vet said it was cause she ate too much fish and had vitamin A overdose and omega 3 overdose which caused the cancer. Vet said no more than 1 fish meal per week for a cat as its causes them problems if they have to much fish. So my current 2 cats only get fish on sunday for dinner. lost another cat who got hit by car and she had kittens the day before so had to rear them by hand 1 of the 3 died. nothing i could do to save her 2 had stopped breathing so had to give them mouth to mouth to try and save them. the 1 that survived i kept. the other 1 that had no probs i found a home for. she was the one that died of cancer 3 years later and i was heart broken.
My cat despises fish sadly. My cat has never caught prey ever in his 9yrs of his life. The only thing he caught was a toy polar bear he brought home 🤣😂

aww, i always want to comfort a cat giving birth it's beautiful and sad watching your cat giving birth, you just wish you can stop the pain, it's like a baby having babies, this is one of the reasons all domestic animals should be neutered and spayed, there are so many unwanted animals in shelters heartbroken and being put to death all because selfish irresponsible owners don't neuter there pets , real animal lovers always neuter their pets .
