In this video I reveal to you, the new most broken loadout in Helldivers 2 after the latest update today. The weapons I test will all be new staples at the top of my meta tier list. Whilst I may not go over every weapon in the patch notes, i think the ones I do cover will be a blast going forward.

I still firmly believe the HMG should use the default Liberator's optic. LMGs irl tend to have magnified optics for a reason and a cross pattern would be a godsend

A large window red dot would probably be best, the bullets drop like crazy so the big window would allow you to keep track of impacts in relation to your point of aim.

On bots, I really enjoy the mobility of the Enforcer armor. Its a Fortifies armor, but it's half-way between a Medium and a Heavy, which means it also now gets the headshot reduction bonus too.

@@Rovaneon it’s alright, not good or amazing, it’s significantly better at bots than bugs from my testing. I’d say you should unlock it because it pairs extraordinarily well with the ballistic shield, and is quite good for sneak attacking headshots any bots (doesn’t apply to hulks) or small bug. From my experience, the dagger is a stealth weapon, and my solo experience has been suitable for it, and now it’s a permanent sidearm for me.

@@Rovaneon pair it with other energy weapons like the sickle or scythe. That way when one of your weapons is cooling down you can switch to it. If done correctly you will have infinite ammo.

@@Rovaneon It is a very low damage side arm; however robot heads are very fragile, allowing you to pop them easily with weapons like the las cannon, scythe, and dagger. And all 3 weapons got buffed in this patch.

Fun fact. If you have 1-5 rounds left in reserve for the senator and you do a reload from empty you fill the cylinder with 6 rounds

Cool new trick with the speedloader for all you lovely comment readers. If you have only 1 bullet left to reload & none in the chamber, the one bullet will turn into a full reload thanks to the speedloader. Pretty neat.

@@DustoVonSusto You can still get a full 6-shot clip out of the speedloader reload even if you only have 1 shot left in reserve; you can probably figure out why that's huge on a sidearm that only has 50-ish shots total otherwise, right?

Hey, I was just wondering if you ever thought of doing a video on the ballistic shield. I know it’s only useful against the bots, but I love what it can be used for. Also, if you pair it with a precision long range based weapon, like the anti-material rifle or railgun, you can make up for the inherent shortcomings in your primary (SMG).

My build for bots is Punisher plasma Senator Stun for Hulks. -- Precision shots for groups and factories 500 kg for fortifications and groups Ballistic shield Quasar -- Pretty fun as a midrange build, and it’s great fun taking potshots with a senator when you’re one on one big a devestator or guys without explosives.

Currently at 0:46 Based on the silhouettes and the fact all 3 were changed. A) Heavy machine gun. You dropped it in earlier & it's a massive machine gun B) Senator revolver. Easy silhouette C) Punisher plasma. It looks like a shotgun but since they were all changed, and the regular punisher wasn't affected it has to be the plasma. (Also I recognize the tip)

@@pkkiller_apathy4568 it works with the sub-machinegun one-handed main weapon as the laser sight works in a way like in Resident Evil 4, helps a lot with doing headshots, also works with the laser pistol, but not with the senator as u cant see where u shooting at at all. I d only use it when I want a clean head shot though, 3rd person view works most of the time.

Quick question...is it me, or did they also _FINALLY_ increased the heatsink capacity of the "LAS-6 Scythe" ?! Because I sware, weeks ago, for 7 seconds of continuous fire, it took 16 seconds to get back to a fully cool-down battery... And now ? Feels like 9 to 10 !

After watching this vid i equipped the HMG for the very first time.........this was a mistake i will NEVER make again, unless there are sweeping changes to how the weapon operates.

Try using it like an AMR with 75 round magazine. 1-2 shot bursts, with the occasional "OH SHIT" spray for a hulk or something. It's much better when you don't hold the trigger down for every target

All it really needed was making the rounds reload faster and keeping the crosshair on while reloading so I can interrupt my reload whenever I didn't need a full reload and still hit the shot. But sure, it can get a speedloader instead.

I swear speedloading should've been added for the senator day 1. It doesn't make sense to use a speedloader for less than a full drum, but loading all six by hand while getting chased down felt like going through a lobotomy 💀💀💀

Are you kidding? They've buffed alot of shit aswell. Their nerf/buff seems to aim at making the choosing of weapons more versatile. Though they do have some odd changes to some weapons that didn't need tweaking, like the crossbow (and slugger from past patch).

Doesn't the plasma shotgun deal absolute shit tier damage and have a -1 AoE projectile splash? I genuinely wanna understand why you'd recommend it.

good question. its damage isnt terrible its just not the best. it works best against bots because it will one shot light infantry troops & will do a massive amount of stagger to the devastators, which is huge to have on a primary weapon. basically it offers huge amounts of utility, especially when combod with an ally to follow up the staggers. my combo right now is stagger with the plasma into a quick revolver headshot on a stunned devastator

Kills tanks with multiple shots to the top of the turret. The splash damage hits the heatsink, so you can kill a tank from any direction 😉

Level 115. I pretty much only do difficulty 9 and only do full clear. Glad you’re having fun! No, this isn’t a meta build. Though, I do think the supply pack may have more usefulness (maybe) after limiting total ammo capacity on so many weapons. Supply pack was trash before (if a group of 4 can do dozens and dozens of highest difficulty missions and clear everything and not need a supply pack …. Those supplies just aren’t needed). Maybe after cutting so many weapons by 25% of ammo capacity this will give some use for what used to be a wasted backpack slot. Senator after buff still feels weak. Too many shots to deal with a stalker or green armored fat spewer. With your build …. That doesn’t matter. All of your weapons overlap in capability (which usually means not a meta build).

Huh? Eruptor had its max mags cut in half and lost explosion size. How is any of that a buff?

You see, mags kinda hurt a little, BUT they fixed explosion knock back AND increased damage falloff, SO now you have same radius and knock back, BUT there is NO damage in outer radius of explosion. So here is what you do, you dive, and shot roughly 1 meter behind yourself (so you don't kill yourself, you can actually shot further away) and receive a massive boost to your dive AND kill something behind. I call that THE ROCKET DIVE, and this thing saved my life a lot of times. Am I insane? Eh... Maybe? Now go and spread the legend about THE ROCKET DIVE

No the explosion drops off FASTER. the explosion gets worse at a faster rate. Thats a nerf. HALF of your total shots ever being gone? That's a massive nerf.

@@ozzysmith2571 They've essentially made it so you use the Eruptor as a support weapon, and take something like the Stalwart/MG/HMG as your primary. I'm honestly more upset at the Quasar Cannon nerf. 15sec per recharge makes it almost unusable now.

Honestly this patch blows. The quasar cannon was well balanced and they just had to increase the recharge delay 5 more seconds for no good reason. It’s already underpowered compared to a recoiless or even an expendable antitank. They’re nerfing weapons like it’s a pvp game lol enough cutting balls off weapons

@@komplex6081 quasar is still fun, laser go boom. It just goes boom 5 seconds later than before. With unlimited ammo, a tiny 10 second cooldown comfortably made it better than all other launchers.
