I made this today for my Granddaughter and her father and his wife today and it was an instant hit. I didn't have the Creole Kick (I ordered it but it doesn't come until after the 4th) so I used another brand, it did ok but I'm hella excited to see the difference in taste with the Creole Kick and I'm gonna do the creamy cheese by 50 percent more to get more of the cheesiness

I honestly have to say I watch this and I was so interested and fascinated by the rue I never knew that you can actually make a cheese sauce out of the butter, the flour and the milk interesting This was phenomenal. Keep up the great and inspiring work.

A little tip I learned from my older sister, freeze your block cheese then defrost it. When you go to shred it, it will crumble up and make the job much easier. We also take some of the cheese chunks and mix it with the noodles.

Good Morning 🆎 That looks sooo good!! When you don’t have foil a water bath will slow the browning of the cheese. For those that may not know what a water bath is…just fill a deep baking dish with water so once it heats up it creates a sauna-like condition.

I do mine the same but I add some small cheese chunks mixed in with the noddles and sauce before I cover it with cheese on top. It adds another layer of cheese texture thru out

I can’t wait to make this Sunday! Thank you so much for showing how to make the cheese sauce step by step! Yes I can cook really good my momma still call me to this day asking what I’m cooking and save her a plate! Lol. I’ve made homemade Mac n cheese before but never really satisfied with out come,(it’s still good, but I know what I’m looking for and just couldn’t figure out what was missing) so thank you Sir! I personally really appreciate your video for this! I’ve done the egg and milk, I’ve done the egg milk sour cream I’ve done just the milk and it never turns out and before u say anything yes I was using velveta cheese brick to melt with the other stuff and shredded cheese! So now I’m so excited to make this!

Just be sure you let that butter/flour cook 3-5 minutes to really cook out that flour taste. Ill say I've made mac the ways you have. I think sour cream is best or even cottage cheese.😍

This is basically like my moms Mac and cheese. Only we add fine grated onion, mustard powder and smoked paprika for the seasoning along with salt to taste. Top with bread crumbs as well before baking if we want extra fancy. So good!

Trying different Mac and cheese recipes for thanksgiving. Overall this recipe beats the other ones despite having fewer ingredients. My husband is a picky eater and loves it.
