if you still havent tried it with a wet batter the chicken will be extremly tender and not really crispy, the crisp will taste like its a part of the white chicken meat so youll taste the crust of the chicken longer. the crust is extremly tender itself. thats because its a wet batter.

Have you never used honey mustard on something then? Pls try it, you literally only have to mix honey and mustard (and ofc any condiments you might like adding to it) and it's so delicious having it with chicken 😋
