so, this literally JUST occurred to me while watching this video, but my theory is that the wet floor bots are autonomous drones that move around the pizzaplex and park themselves near spills, and their audio/visual capabilities are just so they can warn guests away? I could see them being used as a replacement for a simple wet floor sign (sure, it’s an expensive replacement, but making an extremely expensive and poorly thought out financial decision is VERY on brand for Fazbear’s) and their connection to the VANNI network helps them navigate the building or allows a tech to dispatch them to a specific location if somebody finds a spill that isn’t being guarded. with that as a possible origin for them, what if the Mimic (who we do see using the VANNI network in some capacity during Ruin, during moments like the ‘argument’ between Helpi and Gregory about who gets credit for stopping MXES) was using the wet floor bots to watch Cassie and anybody else who came through the Pizzaplex? if it can access the VANNI network somehow maybe it tapped into the wet floor bots’ visual feeds to use them like additional security cameras, and used their sound capabilities to record people’s voices for better mimicking? maybe the floor bots had an innocent origin but now they’ve been corrupted and are being used as spies. it doesn’t explain their ghostly wailing but it would explain a lot about how the Mimic knows where Cassie is throughout Ruin, seemingly even when she isn’t wearing the VANNI mask.

I can absolutely see this! Especially the idea of them originally being used for actual floor cleaning and whatnot, but later being used for notorious things (possibly stuffing kids or whatnot inside them). Like that's what happened to the OG fnaf animatronics...they were cool animatronics that ended up being used for awful things. If they can roam around on their own it would make sense they could aid staff bots in cleaning floors as well. I actually remember a really cool vrchat world somebody made where the caution/wet floor bots are able to roam around on their own and it just felt so natural!

Nice video. Short, sweet, to the point, and you mentioned the speaker/microphone ears that all of the playthroughs I watched somehow missed. Although I adore these little guys, I agree that their existence is confusing. The only way I could see them being more useful than regular wet floor signs would be if they audibly warned guests of the spill with those speakers in their ears, but that would only help the visually impaired or maybe people who aren't looking where they're going. However, if their ears are speakers, it's odd that they don't try to communicate with Gregory or the other bots in any way. And then they're also possessed by children? I mean, this is FNaF, so it's not that surprising that there are dead kids possessing things, but I was kind of hoping they were just going to be cute little guys. They look like they might be big enough to hold one child's corpse, but each one sounds like it's possessed by multiple children. If so, it might be like Cassie's dad and Mask Bot (and possibly other S.T.A.F.F. bots), where the soul(s) and/or conscience(s) are transferred to the bots digitally. Maybe Bonnie died trying to protect some of these children, which is why they are surrounding his corpse. One theory/headcanon I read said that they could have been charging his battery, trying desperately to keep him "alive," which is why his eyes are glowing despite being trapped for years. Anyway, sorry if this is kinda long for a 4-minute video, but the Caution Bots are just fascinating little critters.

I hope you never feel like you have to apologize on here! This is SO FUN to read through. Wow I love this deep dive, thank you for posting! Yea I was thinking about that too. Maybe the ears send what they hear back to Vanny or something? I def don't know. I so agree, I know it's fnaf so I SHOULD have expected more deceased child souls inside them, but I absolutely adored these little bots when I first played security breach, I didn't want them to have a sad story attached!!! But I'm the same way about the glamrocks too and I'm pretty sure they've all got some pretty sad stories yet to be found. I didn't think of that before, that's intriguing. Hmm...I gotta ponder that concept about the digital transferring. Would absolutely make sense with how there's SO many stories in the pizzaplex books about kids getting stuck in the vr or ar worlds and never being able to escape it and/or dying in it. I've wondered if Bonnie may have had a part in that. Either he defended or he was the one doing the attacking, I can't make my mind up on which it might be. I have another video in the works just compiling ideas and random facts and what ifs that all relate to Glamrock Bonnie and his significance thus far, but can't decide if I post it now or wait for the next steel wool game or hint to come out! Glamrock Bonnies significance has literally kept me up at night, like what on EARTH was the big deal with that whole entire plotpoint? I have over 30 questions written down about this freakin animatronic. I don't even like bonnie that much but that whole sidestory has intrigued me more than any other current mystery in the entire fnaf series. I just HAVE to know hahaha. Cannot thank you enough for the comment, I appreciate hearing theories and ideas so much, I really can't regurgitate it enough in my videos; It means a bunch to get to talk to other fnaf people about this stuff. And 100% agreed, these little bots are so cool and fascinating and mysterious! They're like little yellow fazbears!

Apparently! That's interesting. I did not think of that, actually! *making a mental note The way the bots are positioned also reminds me of how the animatronics surround afton when he's getting springlocked, but who knows!
