i think it's funny when childe got accused since the case starts about 20 yrs ago and childe is still quite young. how could a small childe goes to fountaine, finds a primordial sea and use it to dissolving woman

Yeah. Childe should be in the early twenties at best. (He’s older than 14 because he fell into the abyss around that time) but my theory is that is has to do with the fact he has some of the primordial sea in him or smth. Why else would they bring up his past with the abyss now?

[Edited: Yes, it definitely seems implausible that anyone would sincerely take is accusation seriously if he is only slightly older than the first disappearances. But as the comment below said, it would not be out of the question that he was implied to be a part of a larger group, though it still seems odd to conclude that he was the one behind all of the disappearances.] [With that said,] some major spoilers from Acts III and IV below. I suspect that the reason for the guilty verdict at the end may have less to do with the crime he was charged for, but for his ties to the Primordial Sea. My evidence being the implications of the Oratrice being sapient and potentially divine (e.g. Lyney hearing voices near its core and covered in its energies - keep in mind how Scara was able to attain godhood in Sumeru), and that strange whale-like creature in that vision at the end (remember what he said back at Act I on why he is in Fontaine in the first place). Since Furina and Neuvillette lacks her Gnosis in their person, it would then be logical to assume it is inside the Oratrice, more or less serving as the de facto Archon in its own right. But as Furina's predecessor definitely knew about the Primordial Sea as that was why she allow the construction of the Fortress, she may have created the Oratrice as part of a final plan. Thus, the Oratrice then judged Childe as guilty as he posed a threat to the predecessor's plans just for his association to the Primordial Sea.

If you use elemental sight on the water from the primordial sea, it turns black, it doesn’t just fade or get lighter like other objects that aren’t intractable. Idk what that means (probably abyss related) but I figured that was cool.

Wdym? All non-interactive objects are darken, which means you can't interact with water from the primordial sea, that doesn't mean its dark its doesn't mean it comes from the abyss (even though theoretically it is related)

So your saying other non-interactive objects like boxes also came from the abyss? There's a lot of other objects are really dark, I went to exploration domains and boxes are really dark. This is probably due to the hue of the objects when at elemental sight, and WftPS are not pitch black, I went to look on reddit to check if it is pitch black and its just dark like any other non-int object and besides, the WftPS connected to the abyss is just a theory, A Game Theory

@@spammonke7018 Search a picture/video of someone using elemental sight on it. The elemental energy of it is pitch black while everything around is all normal. I don't think we've even seen anything marked like that, since elemental sight colour codes based on elemental energy/traces and white for interactible objects.

Furina acted differently in this trial because it's related with the propechy. Notice that she was shocked with the twins' water magic trick and when the guard was dissolved into water. She wants to stop the propechy from happening.

Theory: the prophecy of fontaine getting drowned because the sea level rising is because neuvillete keeps crying. So we just have to keep neuvillete happy and fontaine won't drown. The getting dissolved part is cus of the 4.1 quests where *⚠️SPOILERS⚠️* The primordial sea mixes into the normal sea, so if the sea level rose, and then the primordial sea gets released, then all the fontainians would be dissolved, and Furina would be left crying on her throne.

they're not afraid to call it drugs, it was one of the first thing the guard said when reading the labels and describing the vials to the court. It was clearly stated it was used to make a drug as well as a weapon.

Living for centuries isn't that weird for humans in Teyvat. Remember that quite a few people have lived since Khaenri'ah, including some of the Harbingers like Signora and Dottore. As for Furina, since we now know she's been working on the prophecy for a long time, it's become quite clear her acting is just that: a way to distract her people from the prophecy and avoid panic.

ATP I think Fontaine was the only region so far that had quests I was actually interested in. Like the trials were so fun and the twists were really surprising to me. I absolutely loved it and if I could play it again I would with no hesitation.

I mean us as players of course knew all the details but from the in game characters perspective, it’s understandable that they don’t have a lot of info or even knew the twin

I think its more that everyones so desperate for a continuation of the main story that any chance of someone who might further that gets latched onto hard. Like, yeah we kind of get by now that these seemingly unrelated stories in each region are ultimately furthering our knowledge of the world and whats really going on but especially recently it feels like new questions are being raised instrad of old questions being answered with each quest so theres no satisfaction for the very first task set by the game, you know?

Even in the most recent update we don't know yet, but honestly my assumption for Childe's situation is that the Fatui definitely had something to do with the serial disappearances- either the original water incident itself, or the funding/management of the Synthe secret base, or both. Father has her own stuff going on, but that don't mean she's not also on a mission for the Tsaritsa.

Actually today i finished Lyney and Neuvillette quests. They are wholesome yet quite dark. I said this in a video that got removed for some reason. It was 2 days after Fontaine released. I think Furina’s Gnosis is in the Oratrice. It would explain how it is able to convert trials to energy and how it essentially has a mind of its own. I thought of that even before it was revealed that Furina does not have her Gnosis.

Well we don't really know how long ago it started with the use of primordial sea but one interesting fact is does childe has a relation to the disappearance case. The wording here is smart, there is one theory is Childe didn't know about the disappearance case but he contribute it by awaken "it" his master talked about. Maybe because childe awaken "it" (might be the whale), primordial sea start consuming life instead of giving birth to life

OK I have a bit of a crack theory here and SPOILERS FOR THE LATEST AQS BELOW!!!!!! Furina split her personality into the Oratrice to create an avatar to try and solve the Primordial Sea issue, and the Oratrice does indeed have her Gnosis. The Oratrice, conscious and aware with Furina's power, deemed Childe important to the plan it has created and intentionally condemned him as guilty to get him into the Fortress of Meropide, then guided him into the pipes and out into the contaminated Primordial Seawater. Maybe Childe's powers, having something to do with the Abyss, are important to this plan, as the Primordial Sea is possibly related to the Abyss in of itself (as a bit of evidence, if you use elemental sight on it, Primordial Seawater is PITCH black, not just a dark shade unlike other objects like boxes.) This is also why Furina couldn't answer Arlecchino's question as to what her plan was: she doesn't know, she is relying on the aspect of herself that she split into the Oratrice to figure it out, and is paranoid that it will fail outright.
