Thank goodness, I was worried other work had prevented his rambling amblings... and with all our old favourites; the Tilley hat, the internal discussions externalized through two Mareks and even a new, jazzy set of graphics for distance points of interest/height. This is still the best thing on the Intyweb! Many thanks for lighting up our week, Mr L! CD#123

Yay ! 😃👍 Marek's back. Great first parter, looking forward to the rest. I think when you pass away Marek, there needs to be one of those Blue Plaques somewhere. Or at least a walk named after you. A tree is a lovely way to remember someone. We planted a Rose in our garden when my Mum passed away.

If I’m out walking with my wife, and we see a memorial bench, she sometimes asks if I too would like to have a bench placed in my memory in that location. That might sound sweet but she says it with an evil look that’s suggests she plans to bury me alive under a bench which she already has prepared - yikes! Anyway another brilliant video, Cool Dude No.1. It was quite a Marek-Athon. I chose snake head 5 as it looked a bit tired so wouldn’t give me much more than a gentle nibble. Looking forward to watching part 2 - which I’ve just been notified has just been uploaded 👍

I think I would go with the classic if-you're-watching-this-then-I-am-dead video. I would want to deliver a rousing speech that compelled people to embrace one another in mind, body and spirit. A kinda you'll be dead too soon, so enjoy it while it lasts, tell the people you love that you love them vibe. I'd like it if it ended with me facing the camera, doing a short but vigorous tap dance and jazz hands. (I intend to die at around 85 years of age.)

I notice on the draw that you have suffered from an injury I and many of the follically challenged suffer from - a bang on the head / walking into something. May I recommend a tube of Germolene (always taken with me on walks) and better still a a bump cap - only about a fiver at Screwfix. It's a bit like idiots putting on a rugby player's ruck type rubber protective cap (to stop cauliflower ears) so idiots don't bang their heads walking into lampposts, etc., but you don't get the odd looks when walking down the road.
