Welcome to a brand new series, where each month, I'll be making a replica of an iconic prop or item from The Lord of the Rings. This year is the 20th Anniversary of The Fellowship of the Ring - and I'll be dedicating 2021 solely to that film. So if you're a big fan of The Lord of the Rings like me, you've come to the right place!
This episode is all about Narsil - the blade that cut the ring. I'll show how I hand-make the replica completely from scratch.

Fun fact: Telchar was a dwarf from all the way back in the first age. He also made the knife that Beren used to cut a Silmaril from the Iron Crown of Morgoth. So if you want to get something from a dark lord he’s your guy. This makes Anduril (as it will later be) a weapon that represents all three of the main free peoples of middle earth. Made by a dwarf, reforged by the elves and wielded by a man

Great content. A nice and cheap way to get great metal looking blades is by using aluminium tape. It really sells like metal.

@@JustJoshinAround check out Adam Savage's Hellboy sword build on Tested's youtube channel. He uses that trick. I want to try it to make a chest plate out of overlaying ribbons. A bit like the one elrond has.

The video maker is setting out on a quest to make a bunch of stuff, on him alone is any change laid. You others that go with him as free subscribers no oath or bond is laid on you to go further than you will. Next episode prediction: a clock to symbolize how history becomes legend and legend becomes myth
