That's really cool. I'm glad I was able to get one of those nerf guns. I want to try doing that sometime with mine. I think it looks so much cooler than the og nerf color scheme. I do like that color scheme too, though. Thanks for a cool tutorial.

I’ve just recently picked one of these up, mint in box and by looks of it barely used. However I’m in the uk and when I try to search for the app it says “ app is currently not available in your country or region” does anyone have any idea on a way around this? Is it still available in the states?

I know this is an old video, but I recently bought the new car from the new movie, and I wanted to try this out, was wondering what kinda paint was used! Would those lil acrylic paints from Wal-Mart work?

Oh cool! I used mainly Testors Model Masters Enamel paints, but they're unfortunately not being produced anymore. I would think that acrylics should work, though the car may need some extra prep first and/or sealing afterward. Not sure tho. Good luck!

Josh! My son's gun was jammed and eventually got it un-jammed through brute force and ignorance, spilling small parts out in the process. I was searching I thought in vain for a video on here where someone took this very specific blaster apart so i could see how to re-attach everything properly. 4:04 you think id be able to use that button to wire a soundboard onto it? I wanna put a soundboard and speaker inside and route the magazine button for a reload sfx and the trigger button for a shooting sfx

What does it do before it dies? Im having issues with mine making the blade shimmy. I'm not sure of my issue

Mine didn't really do anything out of the ordinary before it died - it just quit. I've heard before that blade shimmy could be a couple of things - a bad motor bearing, loose motor mounts, or even just the blade nut being a bit loose.

Hey there! I live in western Pennsylvania (about 45 minutes away from Pittsburgh). I can completely understand your frustration - I've gotten burned on the quality of a few items that I've ordered as well. Making one yourself is pretty simple, depending on your level of comfort/experience with tools. I have a template uploaded with a link in the description, if that helps. Although, I'm going to upload a better version as well (just haven't had a chance yet). Thanks for watching and commenting, and keep me updated!

Sweet early Christmas present you got for yourself there JJ. This takes me back to Christmas time as a child, when I had my introduction into the future,,,, LASERS. Instead of using them for the good of mankind or to create something cool we would shoot each other with them or "tag" as the box under the tree of tinsel said. The nice thing with your trinket is that you wont get waterboarded by your sisters in your sleep when you beat them at the lasery game of tag.

Hey josh im starting to make my one for useing brown paint an i placed more brown paint on the hood an for the search lights i mixed some light blue an blue an for the lights for the front i used the same blue an light blue an i withered the back more an the side were the water want on it theres not much dirt on the side thank u for inspiring me❤❤❤❤❤

So you just used sanded plywood? Not any kind of special plywood like Baltic or anything like that?

The plywood I used for the carcase/main frame box is ¾" red oak plywood and the stuff I used for the drawer boxes is ½" sandeply plywood, finally for the drawer bottoms, that is ¼" sandeply. I got all of those at Home Depot.
