Then Jonathan McGee joins the Newton Rigg students for a day of driven grouse shooting on their Shap Moor in Cumbria.

Makes me feel sad to watch this as I started my working life as an underkeeper with a view to getting a year's experience to go to Sparsholt College, I often think about how my life would have been different if things had worked out as intended.

As an Australian, it's always Interesting to see shooters from another country. Is there a decent outlet there and what value for the shot pigeons?

Yeah gamedealers/butchers will take them.....don't really get a huge amount for them maybe just to cover your cartridge cost.......if you use steel shells there's a decent market selling them to falconers
