@@meenobk5847 the empathy coming from you is nonexistent. Think about it, think about how she would rather kill herself than go through the trauma of revealing the names alive. That should automatically make you think “well holy crap what does that say about our society…” not “well it’s her fault for killing herself”. It takes SO MUCH for a sexually abused woman to come forward to press criminal charges against an abuser, and if that person is a powerful or famous figure then the public torment that woman receives is brutal. That’s the reality. So often women just stay silent and let it eat away at them because even if that’s nearly unbearable, it’s still more bearable than the humiliation and hate and disbelief they receive if they try to press charges ON TOP of the trauma they are already feeling from the assault/s

@@JC-uf9kf Look. Is that something you could do? Yeah. Is that something most people would do? No, not really. Context matters. A simple bit of investigation can tell you whether or not she was crazed and looking to hurt somebody. You don't just write it off because it COULD be a lie. If you're upset because millions of people are very emotional over this stuff, maybe step back and think about a) the average AGE of the kind of k-pop fan posting in a KZfaq comment section, and b) the intense ramifications it has for their favorite hobby. Of course people are hyper-emotional, look at who and what you're dealing with! You have to cut them some slack. I don't even entirely disagree with you, but you have to remember you're not dealing with people in the middle of their most rational moments.

The kids are abused, they hardly see their parents so they are abused by these managers and then they become too rich and powerful themselves with no real instruction or manners and they become abusers too. On the other hand there will always be bad people, among 7 of a group one is a bad seed, it is impossible to get only good ones. Are we getting rid of them too and prevent them from singing? As a woman and human being, it’s important to me when sexual abuse conducts and crimes get uncovered and discussed. But as a lawyer, I see very wrongly to misrepresent facts. This video has a lot of incorrect or omitted facts, for example Kim Sang Kyo, the guy “that started it all” not only was indicted in 3 cases of sexual harassment, his account of being “defending a woman who was being abused” was false and the policemen that arrested him that night were found not responsible of police brutality. Also, Seungri’s case is subjudice so presumption of innocence applies and should be respected. He has never been accused of any kind of sexual abuse, harassment or “molka”. The only charge related is described as sharing a picture of naked women’s backs that was a promotion for a club, not taken by him and even less without consent. To make him the center image of your video, even as you talk about convicted sexual offenders like JJY and CJH, not only is a misrepresentation, could be considered defamation. Lastly but not least, to present audio of “a friend” stating his personal opinion without any type of hard evidence but only feelings and speculation is not only bad shape as journalism, in reality doesn’t mean anything.

Yoo inseok, seungri's business partner, admitted to be the one that did the solicitation. Even the prostitutes themselves said seungri was unaware. @@amymarrin5630 "Literally EVERY article I read, even Korean ones, say that they charged Seungri with prostitution and/or sexual assault." Well your source are wrong. He is not getting charge with sexual assault. It was never his charge. But he has charges of soliciting prostitution. But all 3 women/prostitutes all said that it was Yoo In Suk (Seungri business partner) that called for them and payed. Yoo In Suk himself have been saying that Seungri was not involved since day one. One women said that she was called at Seungri’s house and think that it is possible that Seungri didn’t know that she was a prostitute. Another women said that she was called at Seungri’s house but doesn’t recale seing Seungri. Another one, only mentioned Yoo In Suk and never mentioned Seungri’s house or him. Another witness, a man, said that he always only received orders to call prostitutes by Yoo In Suk. Also mind you all the witness were called by the prosecution team, so they were supposed to testify against Seungri but all their testimonies says that Seungri wasn't involved. You could say they could have lied but they were under oath and if you lie under oath you can be charge. Why would they risk it? It is different. It's very unfortunate that many people can't differentiate it due to all media reporting it as the same. During an interview, even the lawyer who bring BS case out to light was frustrated with the media. Now that everything came to light that nothing really big actually happened, that lawyer suddenly wasn't in the picture anymore. I don't see him going on interviews talking about the case again after BS was investigated and cleared(only found drug abused by the employee but they didn't supply drugs to people). This video was made based from information given out back in 2019 but left out a big part of details where some of the investigations already ended. Even recently MBC posted a correction about an article they wrote back in Feb 2019 stating Burning Sun CEO delivered 20mil won to police and 300k won to the clubs team members. They say that the information is not confirmed. I hope Buzzfeed think clearly about their source back in 2019 and check k if any corrections had been done before posting this because many English news were made based on Korean news that were translated and Korean news are edited all the time.

What are you doing using a Kpop Idol that had nothing to do with the scandal. He has been cleared and was not charged. For a news Network, I thought you would follow the court affidavit. He was never part of that chat room and was manipulated by the Korean Media to make a dime, and I guess you guys are doing the same thing. Please do a lot more research before spreading misinformation again. He was never part of that group chat called the “burning sun scandal”, HE NEVER OWNED THE CLUB, he was a DJ. FOR THE CHAT itself, however, everyone assumed a name called lee the singer was this idol, WHICH IN FACT it was a man from CN Blue member. Seungri was in a TOTAL different chat room that had different ppl for a business chat, which the guy posted a video of porn and Seungri quickly scolded him. If only you followed the affidavit. For years this man has been slandered and no evidence has been brought when the actual perpetrators have been incarcerated and jailed for what they did to the women. BUT you guys would rather not show their faces and let them get away with it and not make it as your thumbnail cover. I guess that doesn’t sell. Guys, I’m honestly disappointed with the journalistic integrity in this piece. Do better and stop using an idol for clout. There been a ton of evidence to clear him and since the media made this narrative cause he was a big idol, the police were pressured to get anything on Seungri and actually forced to make a narrative for his friends and family, to appease him the Korean Media and masses. So far that man I’m the cover has been charged on a DIFFERENT unrelated account for gambling overseas which is considered illegal for a South Korean citizen. They are currently in court for trying to prove the police narrative exists in a military courtroom, the reason being is Seungri had permission to be a soldier. This just proves furthermore the guy didn’t do it, the evidence is showing that the police have been forcing their narrative without a lock of evidence, and the witness is coming forward saying he had NOTHING to do with what the police claim. Please try better. This piece is burying the actual perpetrators and the TIMELINE are totally different. So that is another thing this video got wrong.

Several things 1. The fact that they each got less than 10 years after drugging, raping, filming & sharing the crime is absolutely sickening. Especially when porn is illegal & drugs are strictly punished! Disgusting. 2. Aria mixed up several different cases which made the video hard to follow. The molka situation should have been a video all by itself because it's such a huge issue. It's way more intense & under prosecuted than presented here. 3. Seungri's has been proven innocent in the burning sun case. One of Aria's sources has admittedly doctored evidence, Seungri wasn't the owner of burning sun or in the disgusting group chat. There's a lot of information & links in the comments & Twitter threads with more UPDATED information. Thank you to everyone who put that there. 4. Overall, Aria, I really like your series but you've gotta do better man. Especially when dealing with such major subjects you have to do better research.
