Marvellous explanation to each K Sikhs hold. It truly is an indication of your awesome self-control and persistence towards oneness. I only include that the 5 K starts in a sequential order :- 1. Kesh - natural (accepting and being natural and unadulterated) 2. Kangha - cleanliness and awareness towards oneself and neatness to feel the change in body. 3. Kada - as you said 4. Kashehra - as you said 5. Kirpan - as you said

The elements that represent us as Sikhs, the 5 K’s,are what you need to also accept to become a Sikh as per hukam of the Guru. So yes just having those and not the mindset won’t make you a Sikh, but having the mindset alone will not either. So for those who few you can be Sikh without taking Amrit and these elements, technically you will be a student without a uniform.

Thanks! Very nicely explained the five Kakars. However, the “Katcha” is not adequately explained. It is the “breeches” that the Sikh soldiers wore. It allowed freedom of movement in battles and horse riding and also it is a reminder of physical morality.

Explanation is good. But Kakkars are more than just symbols. Both internal and external spirituality is significant. And please don't differentiate 1st guru and 10th guru, there are the same jot. Even Bhai Mardana was not allowed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji to cut his hair. Please don't make kakkars just symbols. The apex of spirituality can never be achieved with cut hair. That's the reason all prophets, Gurus, Avatars had unshorn hair.
