I have went to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad back in July 3rd 2016, and later in June 2022. But I hope one day to come back again.

My uncle visted the durango and silverton railroad last year summer in july 2018 he got to ride behind the doubleheader

The DurNgo & Silverton railroad is one of my to ride bucket list of trains to ride on.

I have family that used to live in Durango but moved to Bayfield and when I went to Colorado twice to see them I rode on that train and it’s an experience I would recommend if you ever plan on going to Colorado👍

We can now all officially say that the first locomotive seen in this video powered the last coal-powered train on the Durango and Silverton. A very sad day. No more is the Silverton “A-Shoveling Coal”.
