I'm a professor detailer too and I use a 2100 psi pressure washer with a 50ft pressure washer hose and another 50ft shrinking garden hose as well. I used to use 2 25ft hoses but I'll say that I haven't seen any noticable decrease in pressure because of using longer hoses.

How do you avoid hard water spots when you use customer water with the pressure washer? I assume most people have hard water.
@wilsonautodetailing
@wilsonautodetailing 3 жыл бұрын
Great question, firstly I will say this, over time when you detail hundreds of cars as a mobile detailer you get a little less afraid of water spots just because they are pretty easy to deal with, secondly and more practically speaking, shade is your friend, and big garages cannot be overvalued. Generally speaking all of my customers have one of these two things. The other solution to this is distilled water when appropriate (using rinseless wash methods which I am a big fan of), and of course specific products that will take off surface water spots quickly, renegade has a fantastic water spot removal, and meguiars wheel brightener diluted 10:1 will remove water spots safely from paint, just don't use on GLASS

It usually goes without being said sometimes they ask if we need it and its a little awkward but they always understand that they are providing power and water in exchange for the convenience of not having to go to a shop
