Same. When this series was becoming its own show back in the early 90s, I was watching it at a pretty young age, not knowing it was meant for adults. My Mom was about to turn the channel until she heard me laughing at it. She knew I didn't really get any of the more adult jokes and was actually just laughing just because it was funny or when Homer got himself into a stupid situation or Bart was just being Bart.
