I did the exact same as you but it had edges when i were on live mode. I really wanted this to work on live mode, but its beautiful anyway! Thanks.

I think the word "edges" confuses a lot of people, haha. It's just about the water level. He raised the pool water level so it's as high as the house's floor.

You can paint the walls on swimming pools and change the tiles for the floor just like normal. I learned this by accident.

If you still have the problem, maybe your detail on the water and it's reflections are set to low. Go to game options, then there will be lots of slides that increase or decrease the detail of the world and objects. Hope it helps.. :)

I see the major difference - the water to the very top of the pool instead of down a bit from the top - that is fantastic. How does it work with the new diving boards? I am trying this myself but what is not really clear is the different building squares - do they need to be there when building for elevation of could that just be a fully built house there with a patio? Also when you raise terrain, how many click do you raise it? Be great for infinity pools

try to find that option on the definitions of the game. i think it is there :)

I'm a big fan of negative-edge pools and love the look of this. I'm wondering if the fencing is necessary and would be interested in the animations of the sims swimming and entering/exiting the pool. Also, the tutorial went pretty quickly so hard to get most of it to them replicate in the game. Are there instructions written anywhere?

Can sims actually use this pool? It is a nice way to make pools! Not too complicated if your house is on a cliff/hill....

I have no idea what's going on... but I can't even get past step 1... the contrain floor elevation won't work like that for me... (and I have worked with it before).
