I don't know, I feel like doing completely random builds is fun to do yourself, but they are usually such a mess that you don't really end up using the build afterwards - while what Deli has done here is gorgeous and still uses limited packs, so more players can actually enjoy the build too, I love that idea

I like when there's speed builds with furnishing focus. But I also love when you break down the whole process. I learn a lot about design and balance when you do floor plans.

Australia doesn't really have historical architecture like other countries have, the country itself isn't that old so we're kinda just known for tin shacks 😂

@@freyamcwilliamsgardi7787 Australia does have our own unique architectural style. The Queen Anne style being one. It was a revival of baroque and tudor style; but designed for the Australian climate. There are others as well; but I am not going to bore you with more details. I myself love the Queenslander type of house, built solely with our climate in mind.

@@seikanhunter9474 in regards to the comment about Australia historical architecture I wouldn't exactly classify Queenslanders as historical. When I hear the words historical architecture I think castles, row homes, Elizabethen. I'm not saying we don't have our own style of but that doesn't mean that those styles are historical. We have a tendency to knock anything down to create something new rather than keep something to make it. Here, where I am, in my city, we had amazing architecture and then we knocked it down, all we keep the facade and knocked down the rest of the building. So I stand by the point I made stating that Australia doesn't have any historical architecture in the same regards as England or American, we have Australian styles but historical I wouldn't call it that...

I think randomized packs or atleast pack combinations that aren’t that common would be way more interesting. I just feel like everyone’s using Eco Lifestyle, Dreamhome Decorator and Tiny Living in combination way too much. I love these packs but the builds doesn’t seem like something new. I love the house, especially the floorplan! Just wanted to have more variation with this one. Would be a cool challenge to try make something nice with your not so favorite packs (buildmode aspect)

Hahaha I guessed exactly the packs you were going to use, because I would have picked the same ones myself 😂. Actually did a build shortly after we got DHD with only these same packs (minus the kit) and it's really surprising to see how different the builds can be using the same items

Honestly, I love the non-speed-build builds more, LOL. I feel like they inspire me to try out different build styles and aesthetics and whatnot as they allow for me to not only see what you're doing, but to really be able to tune in into your decision making/process and understand how, and why, you pair certain objects together and such when building/furnishing these houses! ❤🙃

I love seeing speed builds in part or whole because it feels like a conversation with a friend and relaxed. That way you can relax and take time with furnishing if you decide to do it in real time. My parents had a sunken lounge room in their home that bought in the 70’s I only seen it in photos but they also had this cool atrium in the middle too. I love your top btw.

I really love this build! I knew exactly which packs you'd pick :) I also really love when you share Australian history with us. I can't speak for everyone, but we don't really learn about Australia much in our history classes in this part of the US.

i dont mind the speed build of the shell and then furnishing it together, i prefer it all real time though but thats just me! im not a big fan of speed builds so i tend to not watch them. I just love the way you build i get so inspired when its all real time and together!

That's sooo cool Deli, I love love everything you've done here - I'd definitely choose the same packs, as I mainly build with those 3 anyway, and I'm always sooo here for the mid-century modern build - especially when it's inspired by Mad Men (it's one of my favourite TV shows too, and i'm currently rewatching so my husband can finally watch it too!) - so this couldn't be more perfectly timed, thanks Deli, love it!

just fyi for everyone downloading- the bike deli places outside is labeled as base game but the only way to get it was to have preordered cottage living so if you didn’t preorder it you won’t have the bike

I know you’re almost finished your apartment builds, but it would be awesome to see an apartment building have the same floorings, wallpapers etc so it is a realistic idea of those people coming in and making it their style! But the flooring and walls have to stay the same throughout the building ✨🤍🌟
