Cyberpunk has a lot of powerful builds you can go for. However, the single most powerful thing in the game doesn't require any level 50 build or even much grinding - and it's available very early in the game.
So, do you want to be a stealthy ninja? Do you want to use explosives as a stealthy ninja? Do you want to knock people out in front of their friends without them noticing? Then you have come to the right place.

Fun fact: the tranq rounds used also knock out cyberphycos and smasher before 1.4. now its patched against boss type enemies.

yeah, i remember. i got flak for asking how you could take them down, if you couldnt tranq em. but i was asking as 1) someone who didnt have the game at the time (had only watched others play) 2) someone that was working on trying to work out how the digital game might be converted to the tabletop version (lol, all i have to do is wait till later this year, for the Edgerunners suppliment pack) 3) from the standpoint of 'how can i knock out these guys, if the knock out stuff no longer works on them?' and 'Regina *told* V not to kill them, how does V do that without these tranq's?' kinda thing. Narratively, i wanted to know how V can do what they are told, if tranqs no longer worked on the targets Regina told V to knock out XD but all i got was 'whine moar' and 'git gud, noob'

@@silverbane8065 there are non lethal ways like quickhacks that do non lethal damage and cybermods that make all damage from guns do non lethal (its an eyeware mod if i remember))

@@TribalGrayFox yep. the weapon mod is called 'Pax' and the cyberware mod is for the eyes, 'Targeting Scanner' iirc. its blue grade. short circuit, contagion, overheat are all considered non lethal quickhacks. however. for anyone that is interested in doing a 'Pacifist' playthru, you cannot shove your downed targets into things. that means you need to leave them lying on the ground. they have to be moving, on their back with a hand on the chest, or on their side. you can check by pointing a gin/knife at them and your sight shows red too. when you try to hide the bodies, if you shove them into trashcans, car trunks or fridges and freezers, the game classes that as a kill. (car trunks and fridges take 1 body. normal trashcans and chest freezers take 2. larde trash dumpsters take 3 bodies each before being filled up, vanilla. not sure but i think the rare 'chute' type can take many, but ive only seen two of those, one in the NoTell Motel, the other in the Electric Factory that the Scavs are in.) you also have to be careful that targets dont fall into things. I've lost one Cyberpsycho multiple times from the gonk falling into furniture XD and had to reload. (a netrunner in a garage in Pacifica, thats near the GIM) also, aim for the legs and arms, avoid the head whenever possible if you want them to stand a better chance of surviving. this is also an issue with Skippy. you will need to double-tap targets with him when he is in 'puppy loving pacifist' mode, or you wont get the kills to register.

Worked exactly as described. Picked up the tranq rounds, walked around the corner, saw some "skulls," and took 'em out one by one without anybody firing back--or even being alerted. So odd CDPR never patched that. Thanks!

@@millasboo They have messed with projectile launcher a couple of times (and tranq rounds specifically). I think this is a case of something that you fiddle with too much and now its a godawful mess, so the only viable solution is to burn it and start over. Unlike any other cyberarms it has no damage scaling from attributes or perks and is not classified as a grenade. So as a damage dealer its completely useless. Then there are tranq rounds which were busted. They would one shot bosses and cyberpsychos. Now they don't do that but they ignore level scaling mechanics and the sound/visual alert radius of the impact is so small, it may as well not have one. By far the number one candidate weapon for a ground up rework.

Why would they? If the enemy doesn't have the cyberwear that grants immunity to toxins, they will be affected, no matter the level. Logicks :D

To me, the projectile arm is incredibly janky and unreliable. Even after downloading version 1.61, it doesn't seem to work like it should.

@@peterseaboldt1250frankly you shouldn't have to use a specific ammo in order to make it viable. In promotional material it was shown as this badass arm cannon that obliterates the enemy. Instead of giving it dogshit damage they should've just given it a decent cool down.

In early game you can easily get a MASSIVELEY overpowererd Shotgun on corporate Plaza at the very top. There are three monks there and behind them in the bushes is a shotgun called Guts. The thing feels more like a Handheld Flakgun

Phobia, I've got an interesting build for you. During the house on the hill cyberpsycho mission you can get a special Strata shotgun with a unique modifier that reduces charging time, With a tech build it's possible to get a 100% reduction to charge time which turns that shotgun into a MONSTER. IF you center a build around it Your doing similar damage as the comrades hammer but with faster firing rate and reload. I like to throw a grenade at an enemy and than shoot the grenade with the shotgun, This will instantly take down even mechs with one shot.

That's an interesting idea! I'll have to look into it and see what I come up with. We'll be doing videos on lots of different games, but we will certainly be doing much more Cyberpunk content too so that might just get its own video!

@@phobiahavoc Here is some advice if you try it. Some times a bug will prevent the perks from engineering tree from applying properly, if this happens drop the gun on the ground and pick it back up. another bug is if you get the engineering skill to 19 it's possible to have more than 100% charge reduction which results in a negative charge time, the game doesn't know what do to with this and ends up giving you a normal charge time instead so if this happens only put one point in Lickety Split perk instead of two.

I’m a Netrunner with all legendary and OP quickhacks. But I also use the mantis blade just in case I gotta close. Also got those leveled up too. So I’m not really gonna use this but this is awesome. Really just goes to show the level of character building you can do in this game. Awesome.

@@alejandrohayling8381 Several builds out there. Here's one I haven't used yet: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pq2HYNSU2am7iJ8.html Only issue with any quick hack dominant build is grinding up to 20 int. One of the best ultimate hacks for taking out groups is contagion, but it is very weak at lower levels. I make do with overheat and shock until contagion starts to shine. After about level five or six I rarely have to use my gun except for super large groups and bosses...

Cyberpsychosis was the crown jewel of that game. I played PS4 pro and even with returns being accepted and all the crashes (over 50 on my playthrough) I still have my copy. There was something about turning an enemy against his own people. The way they reacted, funny stuff they said and never firing 1 round made it all worth it! Cyberpunk gets a 9 out of 10 from me! Like I said, day 1 here with PS4!

I played day one on my one X aswell, the game was definetly not what it is today, not even close, but I really did not have that many bugs at all, and I played over 100 hours. It was even at that time my fav fps rpg , now even more so.

Love the arm upgrades, its the "im not locked here with you, you're locked here with me" tools that makes weapon-bare sections much funnier. Like clubs where you need to drop your shooters to go in or that shady vendor quest

I had a hard time with this in the beginning, but now I consider it an essential tool for stealth missions and/or missions where you don't want to kill anyone. One tip I can offer is watch where the dart goes when you fire it and compensate accordingly. For me, it veers to the lower left of the aiming reticle. Also, it works best when used at the range you would normally use a shotgun.

Extra ways to deal with high level enemies also include ultimate quick hacks (suicide and system reset) and also on the ninjutsu the perk to knock out enemies by jumping from above. I once had to use whistle and that perk to clean up an enemy post. Worked wonders and that way u get to keep ur thematically favorite melee implant

Since cyberware mod-slots are no longer a thing in 2.0 (one of the few changes I'm a little iffy on), I wonder if some form of this weapon still exists? Probably nowhere near as broken though

The explosion is because this USED to be AoE until it was nerfed. I mean, it's cool and all to attack skull enemies, but in the bigger picture having a monofilament or the passive buffs from gorilla hands will make your run a lot smoother. Leveling is part of the game, you always have content your level and return later.

I still remember my first run and loving that arm launcher. Then I found the tranquilizer rocket and it made everything a breeze; even cyberpsychos and (mini)bosses. So much so that I believe CDPR even made changes in a particular patch where the tranquilizer rounds no longer work against cyberpsychos or (mini)bosses. So I guess that was a good fix as the thing was just way too powerful otherwise. EDIT: Now it is very weird that nobody watching their buddies go down not caring about those explosions or people going down who are right next to them. Instead they should go into an alert mode that way. Maybe CDPR should have changed the tranquilizer round a little where they remove the loud explosion and replace it with maybe just the smoke (I mean, it's a tranq dart) and make it so that people seeing their friends go down should become alerted and start looking around as to why their buddy is suddenly stunned (probably with an empty tranq dart nearby).

Knew about the body-stashing thing. I make it a regular practice to police battlefields after the event, and carefully tidy away as many bodies as possible / practical. XP aside, I find it very satisfying. :)

Is pretty much what I use to sort of "simulate" a dual wield of sorts when paired with a revolver or a single handed pistol like the Malorian.

The tranq darts were game-breakingly OP from the launch of the game... however, I was not aware of the stealth mechanic of this weapon at that time.. maybe this came with the update?.. this is awesome, though, and a great way to do non-lethal, stealth missions.. Thanks so much!!

That's been a core game mechanic since launch I remember the first character I used I grinded in an alleyway using the projectile launch system knocking them out and then killing them for double XP. My character was Max streetcrat max level before I really even started the game. Funny to see they haven't fixed that yet lol

Tried this last night and it 100% still works. Waltzed into the penthouse in Soldier, Spy quest and tranq'd both NPC's, got the bonus for not alerting anyone.

I think for good balance they should have made this temporary (like sleep arrows in assassins creed). The unconscious time should be depending on the level difference (like 2 secs for skull, 10 for same lvl or something like that), and it should be quiet, but visually alerting when in line of sight. Tha would provide some pacifist method of sneaking by a guard, or reducing the crowd one has to deal with. But the way it is? Especially that nobody cares when their friends get unconscios one after the other is completely ridiculous. Can't imagine this is how it was intended to be.

this whole time I had been using optical camo + netrunner build and didnt notice the tranquilizer round sitting in the backpack could have finished the whole run without killing anyone except for Adam smasher Guess my 2nd run will be completely different now with this "pacifist build" good video.

Back in the early days, that launcher system had no cooldown. You could fire dart after dart. But they patched it so that after 3 shots it needs a short cooldown period, i think 30 seconds? as mentioned by others, it was great for psychos cause it worked on damn near everyone.

No one ever talks about how this thing is infinite ammo and a crazy short recharge time. Even without the tranq rounds this is my go to for assault builds, just having an explosion on command is very satisfying.

Found my own way KO any level enemy right at the beginning of the game - leap attack. Combine it with augmented jump, and you can stealth any gig.

You just helped me to pick what arm to go for my build. Was between Launchers and Mantis, but this? Oh this will be FUN. (That said, I got few builds in plan. Just need to find frickin' calculator for stats and Cyberware.) (Also planning to use combo of Sandy and Stealth Camo, with Blades, Throwing and -for emergency- a Revolver... The tranq rounds use to work on cyberpsychos, but that got patched out in 1.4 I think.

Also if not, I have some other stuff that can go good with that. find a ripper doc that has the invisible skin cyberware (integumentary) and the stealth movement cyberware. (Legs) You can really just go all out with his build.. If you want to do a non-lethal playthrough and stealth this is a very good must. (I don’t know their locations, atm.)

I think this is not a bug. Think about how many different possibilities and options/styles you have on how to play the game. I think some people like to focus on the story more and maybe want to skip the combat side. This weapon certainly helps with that play style!

Well, the thing is that there's literally no other weapon that works like this. Other non-lethal options still require you to bring an enemy's health to 0 and won't just instantly one-shot people all the time. As well as that, knocked out enemies will still alert other enemies. Except this one doesn't, for some reason. That seems like it wasn't intended.

They used to knock out cyberpsychos too but it was patched. It's amusing for about 10 minutes, but there's such a thing as too overpowered, kind of ruins the game. Great vid btw, high quality for your sub count, earned a new sub.

It's a bug, but not the way you're thinking. The tranq darts aren't supposed to explode. They're supposed to hit the target silently and he just kinds falls over (kinda like the short circuit hack). So yeah, the darts work exactly the way they're supposed to, they're just animated wrong. It's not even the silliest thing wrong with Cyberpunk2077. "I'll allow it."

Heres a fun little fact the most powerful Melee weapon is literally a rusted shovel you can find it if you go through the jonny rout in the end game while at the jungle go to your right and look for a rusted shovel next to a fire and a tree this weapon will end smasher in like 3 minutes or less nothing can stop you if you have that shovel you even keep it after the end credits the shovel even makes funny shovel bonk sounds

I have much fun with *Qiant Sandevistan mk.4* with two uncommon overclock processors for 1.4 sec longer, the heatsink that shortens cool down by 2.5 seconds, an epic *nanorelay* which increases Sandevistan and Krenzikov for 2 seconds, legendary *Kerenzikov* slows time by 90% for 3.5 by itself when sliding or dodging. My weapon of choice is the Legendary *Monowire* with Sensory amplifier and high capacity battery, I also use epic *Optical Camo* and Legendary *Subdermal Armour* so you can slice people with one swipe all while remaining undetected and if you are good with movement you can get it done before Sandevistan ends it's definitely not a low level build but fun

Just go for 3 legendary heatsinks, you'll get 2 second cooldown Sandy with Nanorelay. That's basically immortality.

@@norawolohan5753You gotta craft them with blueprint, these aren't sold anywhere. Look, if you go for a sandevistan build, you should go 18 reaction, 18 crafting, 20 cool and everything else, 12 or something, into body. So you can craft legendary heatsinks, legendary Satori and get 100% crit. That's basically the build.

One thing to note is that once you tranq them, you HAVE to kill them to get their bounty, unless you want to remain poor. Or of course grab the poor unconscious saps and throw them in the nearest bin, I recon you'll still get ninjutsu exp?

I play as an Edgerunner stealth hacker ninja and the legendary suicide quick hack makes fighting easy. It's almost comical watching enemies kill themselves.

I just bought the game in December. I’ve played 140hrs on my Xbox and I’m so thankful I haven’t had any bugs or glitches so far. The worst thing that’s happened it my bike was floating when I called for it.

I personaly like the Sandevistan Samurai more, because it´s not that slow, but I can´t argue that this one is way more effective XD

Most builds are OP but this one takes the cake with how early it's viable. My favorite though is a katana build with a Sandy, the blade tree is so powerful.
