As Hatice shares the dissapointment Ibrahim has created with Suleiman, Hurrem starts enjoying taking over the power in harem. Hurrem decides to move to the Sultana's suite without minding the reactions she'll get. Meanwhile, Hatice makes new plans to preven Hurrem's rising.
As Ibrahim sets off for a journey to the east, his secret enemy Ibrahim Celebi will continue being his trouble during their journey. Meanwhile, Sultan Suleiman choses Rustem Aga as his accompany during İbrahim's absence. Rüstem Aga gets in close relationships in harem without losing time.
The Beglerbeg of Algeria Captain Hızır Reis comes to Istanbul on Sultan Suleiman's call. The arrival of him, as known as Barbarossa, creates a great joy both in the city and the palace. He brings odalisques with him that one of them stands for turning everything upside-down.
Sultana Hatice makes a harsh decision about Nigar Kalfa with the agony of betreyal. Meanwhile, Ibrahim has another plan for Nigar.
Ibrahim gets ambushed on his harsh journey to east. Prince Mustafa arrives to Sanjak of Manisa. He doesn't hesitate showing all his power as an emperor beginning from his arrival.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Everyone always talks about how bad it was that Mahidevran cried in front of Mustafa, but no one's saying anything about Hurrem screaming in front of Mihirimah (probably spelled that wrong)

It is likely the only way she would survive the Harem in the future. In real life I am sure he had many daughters but she alone had his affection. She also grew into a woman like her mother who did great things for their empire. I would argue that Hattice was psycho long ago. They all tio toed around her and spoiled her. She blamed Hurrem but she was only trying to look out for her friend. Instead Hattice fixed blame on her and all the other jealous witches cause alot of issues.

@@lisamonteleone13 My comment had nothing to do with Hatice? I'm just saying Hurrem yelling that way in front of her daughter was in no way good. I'm not even saying she's a bad mother, as she was shown to be very protective of her kids and loved them, but that moment was not it for her parenting

You know, guys, I don't blame Hatice and Suleiman for being enraged by Hurrem's audacity in this case. They want their late mother's chambers to remain empty. At least for the forseable future. And what does Hurrem do? She just goes and settles there with an attitude that says: "If hre's anyone who doesn't like the new order of things, my order of things, is free to kick me out. If he/she can". For a person who claimes that didn't start the war or doesn't like fighting, we have to admit that these were pretty audacious moves

In all honesty, the reason I consider it to be a bad move was that, in the end, it was far too blatantly a move of ambition after how Hürrem had spoken poorly of Mahidevran doing the exact same.

You're right, but Hürrem is also right in her way. I mean, Mahidevran and Hatice and later Shah will do everything to throw her out of position. Even Afife at first stepped over her many times. And she wants to establish herself as new ruler of the harem firmly.

@@nielubieinceli but she can't be established as the new ruler of the harem family. In order for that to happen she must be Valide Sultan. And that won't happen as long as Suleiman lives

@@user-ob4sq6fi3s To be fair, this bit is actually made tricky by the fact that the show's trying to create what happened historically without having established the actual groundwork that allowed for it to happen. So it makes parts of the plot run weird in moments such as these. (Basically, Hürrem's marriage, along with her becoming Haseki, were all to make her the senior lady of the dynasty after Hafsa's death. Except the show significantly downplayed all of this so...this is what we get instead.)

Sure, Hurrem. Keep on adding insult to injury. Keep on reafirming Hatice's misguided belief that you did what you did on purpose. That's indeed a fine way to descalate things with her and minimise conflict

@@nielubieinceli I won't deny that Hatice was in the wrong. For blaming Hurrem for Ibrahim's infidelity and deciding to listen to Mahidevran, Gulfem and Suleiman. But the way Hurrem handled the matter and her moves afterwards, don't exctly help her make Hatice think that she's not the malicious, power-hungry person they say she is. Instead, whhat she is showing her once dear friend, is that: "everything they told you about me is true. And then some."

What Hürrem did to Hatice later it was better and she deserve it. I hate Hatice because she was indirectly responsible from Mehmet´s death by kidnapping Hürrem.

Hatice had nothing to do with Mehmet's death. In fact, she'd have been abhorred by it. She might be a nutcase, but nobody is touching her nephews and nieces on her watch. I'll give her that much

@@user-ob4sq6fi3s So, while I agree that Hatice can't really be found guilty of Mehmed's death (except perhaps in keeping Hürrem away during it but...?), she does start to gradually see them as extensions of Hürrem and her agenda after Ibrahim's death when those children are older. It's, admittedly, in the height of her mental health spiral where, it can be argued, she even stopped caring about her own children, so it's sad but unsurprising.

Oh please, who is there to discipline these sisters of sulieman(besides Suleiman himself who doesn't have time to monitor his sisters all day)and their self righteous and arrogant behavior? They all think they are more important than their husbands and will never tolerate being checked by them, their mother is deceased and Hurrem not only can't check them herself but she has to bow to them even though her daughter is of the same rank as them and her sons are of a higher rank than them.

@@rsync9490 Actually by pure rank, Hatice IS superior to Ibrahim (who was basically an elevated slave). Frankly if Ibrahim listened to Hatice more then he'd probably be not dead. What I meant with Hurrem needing a few slaps to learn a lesson is that being slapped is a lesson for her to be more clever and underhanded rather than straightforward, mouthy, and arrogant.
