The Sleeper Buick Is Complete ! | 1966 Buick Special

Күн бұрынEngine swap is complete. The 300cid small block Buick was replaced with a 406cid small block Chevy. I built this engine over the winter. Factory Block from 72' caprice .030 over and surfaced.
Factory rods , and crank cleaned , ground , and balanced.
New after market pistons , cam , rings , bearings to complete the bottom end , stainless valves , rocker studs , roller rockers , and push rods up top. Used set of Sportsmen 2 cylinder heads, worked over. Used Street avenger 770cfm re jetted
10.5 to 1 pump gas engine ..

Nice video and stunning ride!!!. In Colombia, back in 1966/67 the 4 door special model came with a 225 c.i.d. Buick V6. The same engine we saw in the Jeepster's AMC Commando 4x4. Good car, again.

I don't know about a 4 door .I wouldn't put all that money into a 4 door
