OG KZfaq was a wildly beautiful and untamed place. I liked Lamas with hats, it really shaped my dark humor. Anyone remember that fat lady singing on the table who stepped too far forward and the table dumped her off mid song? Golden. Also, notable mentions for “How animals eat their food.” And “Don’t jump Edward, you’ll hurt yourself.” And “I can’t believe you done this.” I think that’s why we liked vine so much, it had all the most popular elements of early KZfaq.

this thing about going viral then and now has made me think that if i now see someone filming themselves doing random stuff like the sitting on the toilet song i would think they are trying too hard to go viral and are rather sad than funny but if someone was doing the same thing fifteen years ago it was the funniest video ever... kinda miss those simpler times now nyan cat was my personal favourite, i've had a nyan cat birthday cake and i've also watched a 12 hour long video (or 10 hours? i don't remember) of nyan cat on repeat with the audio on the entire time! everyone in the house was really happy about it that day :)

every now and then I watch videos from like 10 years ago about how to tell the difference between real and fake Mac. I don't care about Mac or makeup in general but I enjoy the videos for some reason. Just something about the bad quality camera and the videos just cutting off without an end card. Most of the people posting them are so sweet too, they were just posting to help people not get scammed or whatever. It's more likely noe that people are posting to make a career out of it

I think it still is, but it doesn't feel the same.
