I agree, and to all you said I'll add 'follow the money'. Non nerds saw nerd culture make money and it drew them in like flies to shhhh.... pardon me 🙂 Kenedy, Kurtzman, etc. had no affection for their franchises, they just see product. Self appointed 'geniuses' who know how to fix what wasn't broken.

I would go a step further. It would be best to abandon any IP that is in woke hands in total. Another thing everyone needs to understand is these things that are owned and controlled by soulless corporations were never 'ours' really. We formed attachments to them, sure, but a corporation will always stab you in the back for the 'wider' audience sooner or later. It was only a matter of time.
