We visited Tilt Cove in 1999. WE toured all over the place and Mrs. Collins gave us a tour of the Museum. We ate dinner at the bottom of the cemetary at the picnic table. Was wondering about the metal building that was there at the time. I have a nice picture of Mrs. Collins and one of her daughters out side the museum . I believe at that time there were 9 people living in town. Blessings from Iowa

I have been thinking of moving their once I save up enough money from the military.... I would really like to try and bring the town back to a population of 2-5 thousand.... not much industry but you could establish it a vacation hub or some other things.... soon I’m going to try and contact some of the current residents for help

Thats kind of the way we live here in Newfoundland lmao. On the Island where my family comes from there’s only one cop to service 1,500 people, and outside of the occasional drunk from the pub he spends most of his time just driving around talking to the people here. It’s been that way for years with all the officers we‘ve had lol.

That is about the population of Keno City Yukon where I was born and raised. This is so sad because this is the very thing that I went through when the United Keno Hill Mines which is a silver mine when the silver collapsed in 89 and everyone had to leave especially from the community of Elsa

this was a community with several thousand people but when their main business (the mine) shut down, almost all moved, leaving these 4 behinf
