You’re right, “about a girl” sounds quite a bit like Blood & Roses. He also wrote in his journals that Especially For You was one of his favorite albums.

Finally watched a cruddy DVD of this film last week: Roger Vadim. It was very weird indeed. Wish the print was better.

Graham doesn't really suit pop songs but the sound is pretty good , I prefer an edge quality in voices doing popular music
