@@MrElectrodancer1 They have been in tournaments years ago. And would lose at the end too. Many of those tournaments are biased towards certain dancers from certain countries. Breakers and poppers do a lot better in tournaments from US

Yes I had a calmer presence but it’s a battle at the end of the day and Salif lost. But he definitely came out a lot better than I thought 🙏💯🔥.

When I watch vids like this it makes me wish the era of dance movies would come back, but this time done with a proper collaboration of real dancers and artists and made by people who have film making background but also street dance knowledge and real passion for these amazing guys, I feel like Hollywood milked their vibe then threw it to the side when globally the dance community is still so large. Salute to the talent!!

@@Myogramme Chile, Fikshun had a lil break down in which he felt jealous towards the Les Twins and he went live on IG and spoke badly about the Twins. Salif came into the live and basically told him to chill out and asked that he not talk about Les Twins like that in public... And, Fikshun got mad at him and literally told Salif that he's no dancer... He's a Micheal Jackson Impersonator. Fikshun laughed at Salif who was only being nice and polite and repeatedly told Salif that he would crush him in any competition and he(Salif) is No dancer. Salif continued to be nice and told him that his behavior should not be on display to the public for public consumption. Fikshun continued to laugh and roast Laurent and Salif and Larry just a lil bit because he knows Larry WILL FIGHT🤭

Fikshun is sharper and Salif is smother. I felt Fikshun creativity in the first two rounds. Salif moves was like 70% Larry and 30% Laurent. They were both good but I prefer battles with real songs not just beats

@@acedup00 so can you beat him? If ya can’t then what’s the point of saying he doesn’t have a style. If we went to go the technical route his style does fall under the hip hop side (new school version) but we could also argue that he’s an experimental dancer because he has shown to just be experimenting through most of his movement.

Fikshun is more cultured so his bag of tricks is deeper but Salif’s movement is a bit cleaner. Not only that, but it looks like Salif was dancing to Fikshun’s music. When you know the songs you can do certain moves on beat. In my opinion, Salif has a higher ceiling. This was great to watch. My personal favorites are Teo, Mr KZfaq, and Kida.

Fikshun seems so detatched from the music at a lot of points. Like the music is there and he's just dancing sometimes not even caring about the flow or trying to create different textures in different pockets. I think that comes from doing a lot of choreo??

Brilliantly done and both dancers did their thing in this one. It was power vs grace and I enjoyed every minute of it. Salif is no slouch at all which is great because most people think he’s only good at mimicking MJ so far from the truth. Props to Fikshun as usual and I’m edging him this one due to him being more versatile and creative.

I love both you guys, Salif make me smile with his cool steps and movements, and Fikshun with his athleticism, and how he just kills the beat. I've enjoyed Fikshun on his journey and thinks he has really grown as a dancer.

Salif is not a battle dancer He has way less experience battling compared to Fik. Salute to him for participating. That said I'll salute Fik for picking fair songs, going first and not having any hostile or aggressive demeanor. I also like that while he has incorporated krump into his dance, he is still a complete dancer and not dependent on krump and still has strengths not associated with krump. I hope that if or when Rubix goes to the US that Fik can take him to a tourney and keep this same energy because respectfully a lot of Americans don't know about EU freestyle and how crazy it can be.

Lowkey don't think they were even trying but if they did Fikshun would've took it n I say that cuz I already seen dancers at Fikshun's level dismolish Salif. Salif a good dancer but he only got but so many moves. Fikshun can switch it up at anytime. I think because of the setting it wasn't as crazy but if this were live on TV or sumthn it woulda been different.

Fikshun underestimated Salif. He said that he would dog him, he thought he wasn't a match for him. Now he wanna be all Love, sunshine and rainbows. Salif showed more creativity and musicality as well as fluid transitions. It's all about preference but Salif was my fav.

@@TahniZCat2 There's a difference between Musicality and Beat Kill (hitting a big move to a big beat) Freestyle is ALL about musicality and emotion without it, it'll just be .....5-6-7-8 steps. Thanks to Les Twins and the dancers in Europe otherwise we in the US wouldn't know this style or really listening to a song to hear every sound. They taught to actually see a sound thru dance

HOWEVER😂 I think Fikshun only won the last 2 rounds imo, Salif won the 1st and everything else was a tie, he should have smoked Salif all 7 rounds going half force. Y’all forgetting these are extremely comfortable and capable dancers. Fikshun has a big poppy style and loves to use his space as show in all his content. Yet salif is calm and smooth. But it’s ok to open up every once and a while.
