@@hero3250 I think you’re right, I can’t see it on critrole stats. I guess Matt was happy for Fjord to just be very good at accents /mimicry without taking the feat

It's a good way of showing early that fjord was good at accents, considering the reveal later.

@@hero3250 is it not part of the mask of many faces? pretty sure you can mimic the voice of the face too, not 100 percent as I havent played with it nor hand any in my game use it

@@SirGrimm Mask of Many Faces just gives you Disguise Self as an at will spell without a spell slot requirement. But early in the campaign and I believe later as well, Fjord talks about watching people and that he learned how to mimic people from just watching how they move, talk and interact. I think it's when he leaves the party and goes towards the Menagerie Coast during their first real downtime in Zadash.

Is this extra stuff all edited in by a third party? I don't remember seeing these additives such as the post-its or the caracter portraits in the few times I caught live or rewatched on Mondays.

@@ZypherWildfire Nah it’s all an original clip. They only did the fun post-it’s for a little bit in c2, but I kinda wish they brought them back cuz they were funny. The character names and art are in c3 but only at the beginning of the episode and after the break.

Oh, yeah…he was a creep & well on his way to villainy. However…! …and this is purely looking at the campaign baddies; “Algor” was just a piss drop in the bucket compared to some of the nasties the Mighty Nein encountered. Lost a hand..lost his home…lost his name…it was a fair deal.

He was seeing an expensive prostitue and got jealous, so they chopped off his hand, ruined his life, and sent him away from his home forever. Oh, and destroyed his reputation so everyone thinks he intentionally did all that the M9 did. Yeah, no. The punishment did not even close to fit the crime. The M9 are vicious and it was pretty gross through a lot of the campaign. Edit: To clarify, it was entertaining. But they often did extremely immoral things.

@@Klespyrian No, he was trying to force a PERSON to see only him, against their will. He was also partaking of slavery, something you ignored. Him just being forced to flee with the lose of ONLY his hand was a light sentence.

That’s what frustrates me but alas none of us are/were actually playing with them.

To be fair, it's been a long time irl since this happened, and I'm pretty sure the cast doesn't rewatch this stuff, so outside Marisha and Sam's note taking and maybe Dani reminding them, they're not getting too many reminders of this kind of thing, especially since they were already a good way into c3 when they did the brief M9 reunion.

My memory might be faulty here but don't they basically ask him if they get an iou and he's like "nope." But they let him go anyway?

In all fairness its amazing how much you forget in the heat of the moment in this game, especially stuff from long ago, this was around episode 30 and the campaign was 141 episodes long, not counting breaks thats about 3years with this being like 8months in. On the other hand they had an invite to a water genie's palace in the water plane and never followed up on it. Admittedly they players could have known out of character when marisha goes back over her notes, but then decide that in character they wouldn't have thought of it. (They get deep enough into role playing that they regularly separate player and character knowledge like this)

remember when they stole stuff from the lair of a white dragon? remember the rainbow dispelling stone that was chucked into the void in the Happy Fun Ball? it could have completely shut down Lucien’s plan to kill the Eyes of Nine. it hurts me still

Or the moment during the reunion when Caleb tried to intimidate a Literal Betrayer God without batting an eye. Still though, this was a great moment with Fjord/Travis.

@@MsLeVagabon i actually always misremembered that it was the high richter prucine, who was killed by ulog the dwarf with a fireball necklace, and thought that the irony was that she couldnt pick up the ring of fire protection because she had been killed with fire before she could. but i checked the wiki and it said it was sutan who is just in prison

That's great. All 3 campaigns have their own flavor. All of them are good.

I love all three campaigns, but there is just something special about campaign 2.
