Love the Justice League Snyder Cut. The only 4-hour film that I don't find boring for a single minute. Also I wish I could see it in a theater on a huge screen someday.

To each his own. I love the movie but it could be an hour shorter. There’s a lot of unnecessary or unnecessarily long scenes. Each one lasts about 30 seconds too long. That village song with Aquaman was just hilariously long and pointless and is the most directors cut thing ever.

Snyder is in dire need of studio interference on his films. He has some great ones. But when he has free reign, the movies are slow-motion trash

He could’ve just made one long film if there wasn’t sooooo much slo mo. He clearly thinks it makes things more dramatic, but by being so repetitive with it, it clearly takes away from the objective he’s going for.

The fact that Snyder is making his own cut, even though Netflix is giving him no leash is dumb. Rebel Moon is ass and there’s no need for eight hours of it, it’s just a worn out gimmick of his at this point.

The fact that his 4 hour version is only marginally better than Joss’ 2 hour version says a lot, Snyder is a very inefficient storyteller. If he learned how to convey multiple story beats in a single scene like all great directors, it would vastly improve the viewing experience of his movies for most people.

We’ve already seen what Snyder’s movies look like with studio interference. That’s how we got the theatrical cut of “Batman v. Superman” and 2017’s “Justice League”. Yeah, no thanks. I’ll go with Zack’s versions instead.

@ flyingace1939 The theatrical cut of BvS is Zack’s cut, the ultimate edition is also Zack’s cut, it’s just longer. It’s not the same situation as the theatrical cut of JL and ZSJL which had two conflicting visions. Also, 3 hours to tell that BvS ultimate edition story? Are you serious? It proves me right even further, he’s an inefficient storyteller and does not know how to use his runtime wisely.

It doesn't matter if it's a "corporate version" or your "creative vision", all that matters is "How is the movie?" If people like the corporate version but hate the Director's Cut, so be it. They aren't the problem. Liking a "corporate" version doesnt make them a corporate whore anymore than liking a "Snyder Cut" makes you a Snyder cultist. This is another trash take from Snyder.

One day we will have AI generated movies and we as a group will enjoy them because it will give us the impression that "the creator" took every one of our consideration into account when making the movie and that he had no real motive of desire of his own other than to make the fans happy. There will be a riotous applause and at that time, unbeknownst to most of us, art will have died.
