My cousin who doing 15 yrs for turf war Tyneside scalded Ian Huntly with boiling water and sugar as he passed through the wing behind bars in frankland prison he was giving 10 yrs on top of his sentence he said to the judge if I could of got at him he not be alive

Hi Paul, I was living in the local area in 2002 and it was devastating. BTW: there are often flowers left on the walking path around Lakenheath in memory of the girls. Dog walkers go past it frequently. When the girls first disappeared, I thought they'd just been naughty and gone off camping in the woods overnight (we do silly things when we are kids don't we?!), but after about 36 hours I started to worry and so did the whole city of Cambridge which is on the doorstep of Soham. Those poor little souls. I can't believe what those two demons did to them (both were responsible). To this day, I still cry when I see documentaries and vlogs about the girls. Just now it made me cry as it brings back floods of vivid memories of just wanting them to get home to their mums and dads . The local area was consumed with sadness and grief. I wish someone could have stopped that creature from harming them. They were tiny and would not have stood a chance against a predator like that. One must have watched the other die and been terrified. I can hardly even think about what they went through. I just hope that the parents and the siblings of those girls are OK and that they have managed to formulate some kind of lives for themselves. Bless you for keeping their memories alive xx

How is this 20 years ago, it feels like yesterday. Thank you for visiting them Paul. I was in the area a few years later and thought about going but I didn't, it felt like invading the towns' privacy. Paul you will never understand what it's like to lose someone who knows what your heartbeat sounds like from the inside.

I remember this tragic event like it was yesterday. My daughter was a few months older than Holly & Jessica. She is now a beautiful 32 year old which really brings it home to me that those two little girls would now be the same age but had their short lives tragically cut short by that monster. Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman are 2 names I have never forgotten. I was 16 years old when they died and even at that I followed everything they reported on the news. I was really sad for the families when the girls were not returned back to their parents. For the first time in life I understood a valuable lesson. Not everyone can be trusted. Regardless of whether they work in a place of education or not, they live near you or they are associated with someone you know.

I'm so glad to know that they were able to be buried together. Being from the U.S. I had not heard of this case. My sympathy and prayers goes out to the families, friends, and loved ones of these innocent children. Thank you for bringing them flowers in remembrance.

This was a case that shocked the nation. It seems like only yesterday. It's always going to be difficult to cover these cases but personally I find your approach, tone, sensitivity and respect always to be to the highest possible degree.

It was such a tragic case. Unfortunately, telling your kids not to trust people they don’t know doesn’t help when they fall victim to someone they do know. It must have been a tough video for you to make. I was actually surprised to see both girls together as I was under the impression that they’d been buried separately. The gravestones are lovely, but it would be a better world if they weren’t needed. Bless you for leaving flowers.

This is not too far from me and I remember this case clearly. Whenever I see a sign saying Soham I think of the children. I often wonder how their parents continue in life but I expect they do for their other children and what the girls would of wanted. Huntly being interviewed on telly sent chills through me, the ironic things is the girls were not afraid initially because he was not a stranger. it doesnt seem 20 years since the deaths of those two angels, we cant imagine what the families went through,i can hear in your voice how difficult this video was to make, I remember talking to a friend of mine who lived in Soham at the time seeing the hearses bring the angels back to Soham. I thought you held up well and were respectful not only to the families of the 2 angels but then 2 angels themselves plus the mourners of the service taking place during the filming. I vividly remember this case in the news; I was on holiday in Spain whilst it was all going on, and I followed it daily through UK newspapers, because the two little girls were only a few years younger than me. I was devastated when they found their bodies, it was my first real and horrible experience with true crime. Now, 20 years on, it hits even harder. I’m now a mum to my own beautiful little girl, and I can’t even begin to imagine the horror of losing your child, let alone to a monster like Ian Huntley. It is your worst nightmare as a parent. Thank you for displaying such respect in your video for Holly and Jessica, I hope those two little sweethearts are resting peacefully, and as terribly sad as their story is, it warms my heart a little to know that they are buried so close together, best friends forever 💖💖💖💖💖

This holds a lot of memories for me. I was also 10 years old when it happened, born in 1992. My parents didn't allow me to go off by myself and told me "not to speak to strangers". However, those 2 monsters were not strangers. RIP Holly and Jessica, forever in our hearts.

Thankyou so much for posting this video. I originate from East Anglia, England and remember this dreadful crime well. It is the saddest and most tragic one I've seen yet. Two young girls whose lives were taken in such a cruel and senseless manner. I don't cry easily, but this one certainly had me in tears for the first time since my mothers passing 4 years ago. May Holly and Jessica both live on in our hearts and rest in eternal love and peace.

Heartbreaking does not matter how long ago this was it still hits home hard. Huntly is a monster and it is to be hoped he never is released.

I can remember as clear as day when this happened and it was showing Huntley on the news being interviewed, at that very moment I said to my husband, he looks shifty, my husband laughed and said don't be daft. I'm Glad it's you Paul who's covering this because when it's children, you have to be not only sincere, but sensitive, caring, and compassionate and as your audience know, you never let us down .
