11 ай бұрынThis video goes into the sensitivity loss due the failure of the input FET and how to identify it. Also some results of sensitivity measurements using an RF signal generator. This is not an introductory type video for this radio.
At first glance, there is a high pass network in the input, which explains the frequency response of the frontend involving Q303.

Thats so informative...thanks a lot..where are you located..1620 is some me station or you generated it from signal generator

You have to tune the radio to 1620 kHz (usually that frequency has no broadcasts on it). No need for a signal generator. You are trying to ascertain noise level on an unoccupied frequency at the boundary of two AM bands (MW and SW) which is the case for this radio.
