Even Tony as sensitive as he is about pets, says "whoa wait- you killed the dog? what you do that for?" so if Chrissy could have come up with a valid excuse it would have appeased Tony, Paulie and presumably everyone but Adriana.

One of the funniest plot lines of all time. I heard someone say “sopranos is a dark comedy with drama elements” and this arc is the perfect encapsulation of that lol.

I heard that she was initially casted as the hostess, as you see in the pilot, even though she had tried out part as Adrianna. They did not go for her initially because she did not come across as italian enough, but then when they ran, what I guess, is a second round of casting she played it up and got the part.

Jersey accent. My family is from jersey. Different accents in different city’s up north especially nyc. Got to Brooklyn and it’s different than another area. Same with Texas and TN. Completely different.
