Danielle…Wife, Mother, Daughter, Headphone Model. She is always a welcomed addition to your channel. She’s very sweet and the dynamic between you two is very obvious and fun. These headphones are so so pricey. I would ask how do these sound by comparrison to something like a Sony or a Beats headphone? I love the quality materials used. I also love that you two can’t hear each other during the test because thats a good testament to the noise cancelling.

Steinhowsers? I guess you mean Sennheiser. Sennheiser is one of the top headphone companies in the world. They make a multitude of headphones for various purposes and various price points all the way up to their top of the line headphone at $60,000.00. Bowers and Wilkins, commonly referred to as B&W, is a British high end speaker manufacturer. Many high end audio companies did not survive the latest recession. Bowers and Wilkins did. BMW automobiles have a standard audio system or you can upgrade to a Harmon Kardon system. They also have a premium upgrade to a Bowers and Wilkins system on certain vehicles as a $4,000.00 upgrade. Currently, the B&W 801D4 home speakers sell for $38,000.00 per pair. They are one of the finest speaker manufacturers in the world. The 007 anniversary edition PX8 headphones are $799.00. The regular PX8 headphones are a hundred dollars less at $699.00. Every product B&W makes are of top quality. If you want to spend the extra money for the 007 version it is very cool. If you aren’t up on high end audio equipment but are considering buying these, you won’t be disappointed in the quality, craftsmanship, and sound from these headphones.

I forgot to add that I feel a high quality set of noise canceling headphones are a must. They are useful all the time but they are a must have when you fly to cancel the loud drone of the jet engines. Having a set would pay for itself in just one plane trip. Ever wonder how noise canceling headphones work. They use the same scientific principle that dipole surround speakers use in home theater sound. It is a fact that two sounds at the same frequency, if they are 180 degrees out of phase with each other, will cancel each other out. They use this principle to make noise canceling headphones. These types of headphones have small microphones outside of both ear cups. These microphones pick up the noise outside of the headphones. This sound is played by speakers inside the headphones but the sound is played 180 degrees out of phase. When you hear both the outside noise plus the outside noise 180 degrees out of phase, those two sounds cancel each other out.

There are no Beats headphones that are $1,200 that aren't flashy very limited editions. Any Beats headphones over $400 are not giving you better sound quality for your money, they're just jewelry. The best headphones from Beats can't even compete with the Sony XM5 in sound quality, let alone the Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2 -- which is the model below the PX8. Needless to say, the sound quality of the PX8 is a few leagues above any Beats headphone -- regardless of price.

Grabbed a pair thanks David and Danielle for the great review! *The Bond ones are $700+ but the non Bond pair is $399 US (they have it in blue as well) They also make their version of the AirPods which retail @ $249

That’s not the PX8 you’re referring to, though. The „cheaper“ ones which are also available in blue are the PX7 S2.
