I absolutely love the Disturbed version of The Sound of Silence. I even bought the album Immortalised on vinyl as a result. However, when you say 'The sound of Silence by Disturbed', please remember even that version is a cover of a song written by Paul Simon, very nearly 60 years ago and subsequently a hit for Simon and Garfunkel in the 60's

That's one of my favorite songs. The version that Disturbed performed on the Conan O'Brien show was perfect.

To all the young folks out there... " Sound of Silence" was written by Paul Simon in 1964 and originally performed by Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon. A great young duo who paired up while in high school ( Queens NY) in 1957. While Disturbed did a fabulous rendition just as this Pianist , the song "belongs" to the talented original duo. If you get a chance listen to other words and songs of Simon and Garfunkel.😊🎵

Amazing! This might be my favorite video of yours ever. It's between Metallica's Nothing Else Matters and this. All of them are excellent, but these two stand above the rest.

Absolutely superb. The best compliment that I can give is that whilst listening I could hear the vocals in my head.

I have children that are in their 40s and one that’s in their 30s. They are constantly telling me dad listen to this great song that their favorite artist did a cover on, and I am constantly telling them, the Beatles wrote that! Led Zeppelin wrote that song! And they are amazed when they find out that the song has been there for 50 years. So actually disturbed was not the original group that did this song. It was actually Paul Simon like someone said earlier on their comment ! I discovered this lady playing the piano, a few years back, and I have instructed people around me that if I’m ever bedridden, and my brain is still firing, I have told them to play her playing all of her songs on the piano! They all are wonderful!
