The spearhead to seize the Golan Heights - June 9 1967
This animated film tells the little known story of the courage and bravery displayed by the 129th Battalion as they valiantly fought their way up the mountains to secure Israel’s northeast border and bring peace to the land, during the 6 day war in 1967.
Removing the Syrian military threat from the Golan Heights was of critical importance to the State of Israel since the area was used to constantly fire upon the Israeli civilians living in the towns and villages down below.

Starting with the War for Independence in 1948, they were greatly outnumbered 50 to 1 but had the grit and determination to stave off being pushed into the sea and annihilated. Never forget that the great minds and scientists were Jewish while in Europe ang the US and so they were endowed with the knowledge and resilience to develop. They have becomme dominant , yes, developing a tiny area with scànt natural resources, but still, in manpower resources, they have little to draw from compared with the Arabs and the Iranians. That is why they need to be dominant in technology.
