Fun fact is that bees don’t always leave the stinging scene and then end up eventually dying some bees have been known to go in counter or clockwise motions to wiggle themselves out and have done it many times

11:17 Fun fact: the reason they die if they sting you is because their stingers weren’t made to pierce something as thick as your skin , so when they sting you it basically pulls out their stinger and abdomen, killing them

To go more into why a bee dies when they stings you, Their abdomen and organs get pulled out with their stinger. This is because our skin is very elastic and holds on to the stinger, like most mammals. However if a bee stings another insect, the insect has a hard exoskeleton which doesn’t hold onto the stinger. So their stinger doesn’t get pulled out.

When I was like five or something, I was outside on my balcony porch thing and a bee landed on my leg. And as the stupid little toddler that I probably was, I ran around like a maniac and screamed to the top of my lungs. To my surprise, I didn't get stung, it just sat there on my leg for a bit. And afterwards I cried for like an hour.

my friend wrote a story. these guys were outside the main character's house, and then they heard a scream. They drew their swords and ran to the backyard. IT WAS A BABY SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER BECAUSE IT WAS STUNG.
