Well, I sure hope they will at least include all of the great scenes from the book series that weren't in the Nickelodeon Spiderwick movie and that Mulgarath will be as huge and epic in this series as he was in the book series, along with his castle in the junkyard.

It's like they just remaking old good movies just to putting more black people or gay people in. It's sad, if you want to add them into a movie for todays Snow-wokes make new movies and call them something else don't remake old good movies.

This might be acceptable if it were the first adaptation, but this poor series has already been ruined once, they could have tried harder to compensate for that. The main actor does not look like a kid, definitely not young enough for the story. He also doesn't seem like he can act at all, flat stance/delivery every single time he's shown. Doesn't look like he's got the imagination to be filming a fantasy. Better actors around him aren't going to be enough, this is going to be painful to [attempt to] watch. Another streaming service adaptation that just could have been so much better.

I’m so sick of all these reboots and the dei gender and ethnic swapping! I hope this garbage gets cancelled immediately. Woke Hollyweird needs to stop messing with my childhood favorite classics. They should leave it well enough alone and make something new if they had any talent or creativity they would. But they can’t because they’re destroyers.

I wasn’t expecting so many blatant, hateful and racist comments for a family movie. It’s really very sad. Whether you racists like it or not the world isn’t just white and movies in the 21st century should reflect that. Movies and tv shows based on books take creative liberties all the time. it’s annoying that most of you are hung up on the race of the characters.
