@@pfchim2012 Benitez points per game = 1. Lampard ppg = 1.18. He made them better, not worse. Not to mention he had an arguably more difficult and pressurised scenario, with limited games left and a relegation battle.

Frank has brought passion back to the team! Even when they were losing, you could see most of the time the players were giving their all and were unlucky at times.

@Adam Kennedy yeah Frank had nothing to do with it. In fact if he wasn't there I'm sure the result would have still been the same, it's all down to the fans. What a load of codswallop. The fans absolutely done a huge thing and were immense, possibly the best fans I've ever seen, when so many others would have had a sulk and booed everyone. So huge credit to the fans but to suggest that Frank and the rest of the coaching staff had nothing to do with it shows you know very little about team based sports.

I think the greatest test Franck has had in his small managerial career so far is with Everton. Saving them from relegation is a great achievement and a profound show of belief and character. He worked hard, even when things on the pitch were very bleak. He believed that they could avoid going down, and they've avoided. Huge credit to him, and to all at Everton FC, from top to bottom who have made this possible. Blues in the EPL always, down, never!

What a top top man. Everyone was quick to say he was a bad appointment and has achieved nothing etc. He’s a very likeable guy and has absolutely turned the club and the mood of the club around. Rafa had us on our knees and make no mistake, we were going down with Rafa in charge.

There's a reason previous players, and people connected to this club always love this club and often come back after going away - I think Lampard sees it very clearly now, after what he's experienced over the last few months, I can say almost certainly, that even as a Chelsea boy, Frank is a BLUE, in every sense of the word and for life now - you can just tell.

Working under Mourinho, Ancelotii, Ranieri, and the various other great Chelsea managers inspired Lampard to believe that he could be a successful manager himself. It's a massive test than so many players don't embark upon. I'd argue that winning a relegation battle is profoundly more testing, and shows a greatness in character especially when his experience has never allowed him to feel like a loser who has to really fight for survival. If Everton had been relagated, I'm not sure how they could have survived as a football team so it's great to see him turn this one around. I wasn't sure the team would do it, but let's see what he can do next season. Well done Frank!

People on here saying that we are over celebrating surviving relegation, that it's not an achievement and we should be higher in the table. Yes we should be higher, but due to the position we were in (particularly a couple of weeks ago) and the free fall we were in after benitez, losing so many games, to turn it around is a great achievement. Kudos to Frank for turning it around, getting the support back from the fans and getting us playing with heart and soul. Under benitez I think we would have carried on as we were and got relegated.

I have a feeling Lampard is just getting started at Everton. He is a good enough manager .. he did a decent job with Chelsea and now has done very good job with Everton .. would be interesting to see how Lamparad and Gerrards careers as managers pan out

The most important summer transfer window of the club is arriving. Next season you won't have a Norwich or Watford to rely on, I think it'll be even more competitive next season.

Big summer coming up now, get some players in that fit the style and quality that Frank needs and get some of the other players fed with the philosophy of what it takes to be a team that can compete up towards the top of the league and I feel we can be challenging the top 6 places from next season.
