Regarding St. Faustina being first among the virgins, this doesn’t mean she is higher than the Virgin Mary. In Matthew 11:11 Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” Does this verse mean that St. John is greater than St. Joseph and the Virgin Mary, both of whom were born of women? The diary of St. Faustina is amazing.

Something lining up with Orthodox theology isn't an objection. It just calls Orthodoxy into question

Roman Catholic Church is the only true Church initiated by our Lord Himself. You should be ashamed of your hateful attitude towards The Church.

Nope, Roman Catholic Church is a split from the only church: the Orthodox one, adding arbitrary dictums and novelties and "modernizing" itself all the way to substituting bread and wine for waffers...

@@foljs5858Calm down, children. Haha. Look at the state of the world and the curse of relativism. What became the Orthodox Church had no problems with Catholic Mass and teachings before the schism. How can the Orthodox Church be One if every jurisdiction of the patriarchs and metropolitans declare different and contrary things about something as simple as my baptism (done in the CC) I got conflicting answers as if I was asking Protestants what to do. If I wanted to be protestant, I would’ve stayed a Baptist instead. Orthodoxy is Protestantism with Tradition and somewhat sanity but you’re still wrong

They are one because they are all in communion with each other. Just like the early church was one
@LuxFidelis4 күн бұрын
@@IN-pr3lw sounds like what a baptist would say about other baptists even though they would be night and day different from one another. Also what communion again, Greek and Russia isnt and that bickering broke your churches between Greeks and Russians. Russians and Greeks also condemn antiochians here because they allow women to read and preach the gospel during liturgy during March.
@IN-pr3lw4 күн бұрын
@LuxFidelis Not sure what you're talking about, to be honest, because it doesn't affect your average Christian. All I know is that these churches are one as they are in communion with each other. If I were Greek, I could take communion in a Russian church or a Georgian church. All these churches part take in the mystery of Eucharist, which is what unites them all mystically as one body 👍
@LuxFidelis3 күн бұрын
@@IN-pr3lw if you are a Greek, you haven’t been able to receive communion from a Russian since 2018 with the EP establishing a patriarch in Ukraine. That unity is an illusion that easily falls apart in instances like the council that was attempted in 2016. Mentioning communion, what about the antiochean Church communing with miaphysites (oriental orthodox which is outside the Orthodox Church) ? Allegedly encouraged and supported by the patriarch in Antioch which lead to many ceasing commemoration of their metropolitan and Patriarch over heresy so in a sense, a soft schism. Antioch is outside the Orthodox Church according to the councils and canons so no, your answer isn’t satisfactory. Proclaiming unity then condemning eachother and justifying breaks in communion again sounds like protestant ecclesiology
