God bless you both! I have been going through a spiritual trial but praise Jesus He got me through it! Please pray for my ex-husband. He out of the blue said he didn’t believe in Jesus and then told me he wanted to get a divorce. Within 2 months I was divorced. Mind you, we’ve been together since I was 14…he went to church every single week with me. He professed Jesus as Lord and savior. I’ve found out some other terrible news about his situation since our divorce…my heart is going out to him. Please pray for him. Pray that the blindness of the evil one gets removed from his mind and that he LOVES the Truth. His name is Ryan. Thank you all. 🙏

I COMPLETELY relate to this! I married my high school sweetheart at the very early age of 18. We have an almost 2 year old together and when we were teenagers we used to go to church together. As adults we were both in discipleship groups, him in a men's and I was in a women's group. I knew he wasn't reaching for the Lord and tapping into EVERYTHING the Lord has/had for him so I started praying DESPARETELY for his soul and his life. I remember standing in my kitchen and ignorantly (however I do not regret it, but IT WAS IGNORANT) declared war on his oppressors. I actually prayed aloud, "if you don't let him go, then prepare for war." AND BOY DID THEY! I remember shouting at him in frustration and desperation "WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Later he told me he was so "sick and tired of hearing me talk about God ALL THE TIME!" I actually chuckled and not in a "haha, I'm getting on your nerves" type of chuckle, but because I just KNEW in that moment I was wearing down the enemy. Later, God brought that up to me to help me process it and dive deeper into what I actually heard. The enemy was losing his grip. He was "white knuckling it" having to hold onto him because I was fighting with God on my side! The enemy was getting TIRED, sick and tired of me fighting against him! That was such a big deal for me personally because I have ALWAYS struggled with fear and always have been a door mat for everyone. So to know and to believe that God had empowered me to make my enemy STRIVE to hold on, it was big for me. I started praising and shouting, "THE ENEMY IS AFRAID OF ME! THE ENEMY IS LOSING HIS GRIP!" He ended up ending the relationship and is still pursing his wicked lifestyle. My battle is not over. It's almost over, praise God. Pray if you will as I will for your ex that God would be GLORIFIED first and foremost in their lives and that no matter how dark it gets for them, that the Lord redeems them and that they do submit and surrender themselves over completely to the Lord.

I can also relate. My husband and I have been best friends 21 years prior to getting married. We've been married 15 years. Last year, he asked for a divorce again. He had asked the year before but later came back and said he didn't want it. This time, he was very cold and selfish. All I could hear God telling me was to love him in spite of. Long story short....it was months of loving the unlovable. The Holy Spirit empowered me to do so. We started our divorce process, separated from our marriage home, and 5 months after, my husband encountered Jesus and begged me to give him another chance. I did. His encounter with Jesus is so evident and I have a new marriage. A new husband. Be encouraged. Continue to love the unlovable and know that anything is possible if you believe.

Sometimes people feel like the only way out is to say the one thing that will hurt you the most. In Ryan’s case, he said he doesn’t love/believe in Jesus. Maybe he truly thinks he feels this way…But maybe he just didn’t have the real words to speak to you. Or the courage to tell you the real reason. Just something to think about. 🥰

When you said Satan appoints leaders, immediately what entered my mind was "there are two kingdoms." I remember asking God why does Satan care and strive SO MUCH to get people on his side. He already knows he's lost, he's not fighting from victory. So, why does he keep trying to drag people to Hell with him? What does he get out of it? After some time the Lord answered me with Proverbs 14:28 "A growing population is a king’s glory; a prince without subjects has nothing." So, when we turn from God and submit to wicked ways, we glorify Satan. Interestingly, the previous verse pairs perfectly with verse 28. "Fear of the Lord is a life-giving fountain; it offers escape from the snares of death." Fear of the Lord is how we stay FAR from wicked ways, and stay on the righteous path, the narrow road. The Lord has been repeating this phrase of "fear of the Lord" partially with your book and also with scripture. Since I have heard your message about fear of the Lord, I have been praying for understanding and the wisdom and to have fear of the Lord. Also, for the last several weeks I have been praying that God would deep-seat me in humility, bath me, cloth me, and saturate me in the humility of Jesus - to make my humility match Jesus'. Well, yesterday's verse of the day on the Holy Bible app was Proverbs 22:4 "Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life." Which also circles back around to Proverbs 14:27

A gentle warning that Napoleon Hill's writing just leads you down the "Law of Attraction/The Secret" path. If you read and study it, it's all about *you*, harnessing your personal desires (ie - "taking control of your thoughts" to "create the reality you want to see"). I used to love 'Outwitting the Devil', along with so many other 'Law of Attraction' or 'Christ Consciousness'-type books, however they all lead to the same unfulfilling dead end - you look to your self, your human mind - rather than surrendering to God's will - for guidance.

Thank you so much John and Lisa for the wonderful video. I’m 23 speaking from South Korea, where the new wave of pop culture is happening, which is great that many more get to about our country, but I see so much more individuals suffering due to depression, anxiety from comparison in all different ages of lives. I want to spread the word of God boldly to people around me, to hold onto God’s words more, but I still have no certainty on how that’s gonna play out. Pray for me on that with me. God bless! 😊

I love hearing you… i was listening to your 1 hour sermon on the awe of God on you tube one night and i was laying on the couch listening. Facing the couch i began to Smell a mild scent of cotton candy. I don’t eat that and there was none in the house. It went on for about 30 min of hearing this sermon. I truly believe the anointing of the Lord is upon your book( i have it in audible) i could smell the sweet presence of the Spirit of the Lord. I have smelled this before but only when im deep in prayer or focused on the Lord completely . This is why i listen to you and lisa. Love her book girls with swords and lioness arise. But the anointing or approval of the Lord is upon you. Thank you for seeking the heart of God. ❤🤜🏼🤛🏽

Without listening this podcast, I was praying 3 weeks ago and I was aware when a thought that was not godly came in my mind, I was surprised where and why this thought came while I was praying and then I heard the Holy Spirit say, sanctify your mind. And than the passage from Rom 12:2 came in my mind and it was so alive in me how important it is to sanctify our minds and thoughts. I have to be awake for every thought that comes in my mind and it's good to compare our thoughts with the passage in Philippians 4:8 (and not only) if they are loveable, true, right ect. If my thoughts are not holy or according to God's word the Holy Spirit told me to use my authority to put them down and to wear the mind of Christ! Still working on this topic that's why I had more understanding listening to this podcast how devil uses our weakness on our thoughts and minds and why is so important to have a holy mind so thank you very much for sharing this, it helps me a lot 🙏

A lot of people don't understand how dark things can get in your mind. And how strongly the devil has a hold of many. I've been a Christian all my life and have loved the Lord. Your material never gets old never goes out of style. I am as convicted by the bait of Satan as I was 20 years ago. And I can’t count how many teachings of Lisa they have set me free. "....it encourages Lisa and me (not I)..." i only share this so we can remove distractions and reasons for unbelievers to dismiss us. I am a grammar teacher, I pray you receive this in love, as I send it in love.🙏❤️ When we use the word I or me the rule to figuring it out is removing the other person's name, such as your sentence would sound like this: " it really encourages I when listeners send us feedback" So when you say it really encourages Lisa and I it just sounds really wrong to those who know how to use it. Very distracting and so so many pastors say it wrongly. Versus, " it really encourages Lisa and me", because you would normally say me speaking about yourself. I pray you will take this to heart and that it will help you.
